Home for the Mopar Enthusiast
A little place on Livejournal for us Mopar owners! While muscle cars are the creator's specialty, this is a home for all types of Mopars.. Even our AMC cousins are welcome. Everyone is welcome, however I suggest any non-Mopar talk be taken to the Gearheads community.
Rules of the page:
1. Be courteous...
This should be self explanatory, but some people just don't get it. This isn't the place to spew all sorts of stupidity about what car make or type is better. Everyone has their preference and everyone deserves respect. (The creator himself owns a '71 Chevelle Super Sport in addition to the love of his automotive life, his '67 Plymouth Barracuda Coupe).
2. Please don't degenerate this site into a "Ford Sucks, Chevy bites, and Mopar rulez" type site.
Sure, the list of acronyms for cars is humorous, but we've all seen it and few people are entertained by "Found on Road Dead! hyuck hyuck!"... Also, see rule #1. We all have our specific tastes.. Some people just aren't mopar people and that's okay... More mopars for me to drive!
3. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone..
If you're being a bonehead, you'll be removed from the community.. Simple as that.
4. Pictures are welcome, but please use LJ-Cut!
This is for our low-bandwidth users.. Plus, when you're looking at your friends list it's not cool to have to wait for all your photos to show up.. Here is a quick tutorial on how to do LJ cut..
EXAMPLE:
Blah blah blah, and now you want to put pictures (or long long text) behind an LJ-Cut..
< LJ-cut > (remove the spaces, of course)... Any text here is behind an LJ-Cut only if you finish off your entry with < /LJ-cut > (again, no spaces)... Very easy to do..
5. Have fun.
I was never one for long rules lists.. Anyway, have fun and please support our fellow moparheads out there. Newbies are welcome, as are people with tech questions.. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask..
