Nevertheless, agreeing to collaborate does not automatically ensure success of the partnership and give a positive social, economical or even organisational impact. According to the scientists, institutional interferences, economic or government disincentives and decision-making handicaps could create significant obstacles to partnership efficiency. The article examines success factors of the inter-organisational partnership effectiveness in local government, with reference to an opinion of Lithuania’s local government representatives. The partnerships’ success factors indicated by the Lithuanian practitioners coincide with the ones formulated by foreign researchers. However, they are slowly put into practice because of systemic and managerial impediments preventing inter-organisational partnership

There is a noticeable scientific thinking stating that too high Government involvement into the matters of its countries particular economic sector may bring adverse effects. It raises a scientific and practical problem: how to decide if Government should intervene into the particular economic sectors operations and when? In order to solve this issue, an economic resilience measuring index of agricultural sector was created. The agricultural sector consumes the biggest part of EU budget, acts as a main employer in rural regions of EU member states and is very susceptible to external perturbations, especially from the demand side, as supply cannot be timely adjusted to demand. Thus it was chosen as a target sector in our scientific research. In order to select the indicators for agricultural sector’s eco...

It can develop, maintain or encumber the collaboration process and value of a partnership. Thus, the facilitative structure of a partnership is an actual constituent of efficient inter-organizational partnership implementation. The aim of the research is to develop a conceptual structural model for effective interorganizational partnership in Local Government. There are two such models presented in the article. This research extends previous investigations on digital insurance transformations and customization trends in the European and Baltic markets. Expert-based evidence on predominant as-is features in existing non-life insurance online platforms and evaluation on a practical spread of 3 capabilities of the Mass Customization concept are key research outcomes. The knowledge about the essential characteristic elements of lead users is crucial to select the right lead users in the early stage of the NPD. By filling the research gap, we performed a systematic literature review about the required personal characteristics of lead users. The resulting 45 studies demonstrated that diverse characteristics are required in different stages of an NDP which vary in the consumer and industrial context. According to our research results, we made a contribution to the theory by extending the lead user method in the form of a partial theory. We also found that in the case of incremental innovations, companies apply their technical knowledge and do not require additional expertise from users, while in the case of radical innovations, firms only involve external users with hig...
