The study utilized a descriptive analytical inductive approach, and a questionnaire was designed to collect data and distributed to a simple random sample of 310 individuals in three hospitals. A total of 243 valid questionnaires were identified for analysis. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) was used to test the model and study hypotheses. The study found several important results, including a statistically significant impact of implementing JCI accreditation standards focused on the patient on improving the quality of healthcare services. However, there were no differences in the level of healthcare service quality attributed to organizational variables. The study concluded with several recommendations, including the need to enhance the level of accreditation standards implementation, particularly in terms of documentation, awareness, access to care, and continuity. Continuous reviews of processes and procedures are also recommended to ensure ongoing improvement.

This discourse meticulously analyzes the primary health system challenges in Yemen within the framework of the World Health Organization's six pillars. It subsequently presents evidence-based policy recommendations to enhance Yemen's health system and ensure the provision of high-quality and equitable care. In terms of service delivery, it suggests augmenting the presence of community health workers, leveraging mobile health technology, rehabilitating facilities, and improving emergency obstetric care. Regarding the health workforce, it proposes financing mechanisms for adequate remuneration, task-shifting strategies, embracing telemedicine, and fostering partnerships with universities. To strengthen information systems, it advocates for the enhancement of facility reporting, the implementation of national surveys, the utilization of mobile phone surveys, and the adoption of robust health information software. Regarding essential medicines, it recommends reorganizing regulations pertaining to selection, procurement, storage, and distribution. For health financing, it highlights the importance of increasing domestic budget allocation, implementing user fee exemptions, adopting performance-based financing mechanisms, and strengthening financial management systems. Last, in terms of governance, it emphasizes the need for transparent and accountable leadership, effective coordination mechanisms, and inclusive policy-making processes. Yemen requires sustained political commitment and adequate resources to facilitate the comprehensive reconstruction of its health system.

Using a descriptive cross-sectional approach, the research employed a simple random sampling technique to enlist 384 nursing personnel across four hospitals situated in Sana'a, Yemen. A questionnaire based on the Yemeni Patients' Rights Charter and relevant literature on patients' rights was employed to gather data. The findings revealed a high overall awareness level among nursing staff regarding patients' rights, with a mean of 84.4%. The special right dimension exhibited the highest awareness level (88%), while the knowledge dimension recorded the lowest level (79%). The investigation identified no statistically significant variations in awareness levels attributable to demographic factors such as gender, marital status, age, occupation, experience, and educational qualifications. However, differences were observed in awareness levels based on the hospital type, as private hospitals displayed higher awareness than government hospitals. The results underscore the necessity for tailored educational initiatives targeting nursing staff to address identified knowledge gaps, particularly in government hospitals. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of safeguarding patients' property against theft, damage, and loss by educating nursing staff on patients' right to know the identity and qualifications of healthcare providers-a crucial aspect of patients' rights that nursing staff must be cognizant of to ensure quality care provision.

Job stress is one of the most significant workplace health concerns for employees, and job satisfaction has been identified as an important factor in the delivery of high-quality services and superior performance at hospitals. This paper presents a field survey. Drawing on a sample of 362 nurses operating in Yemeni hospitals, we examined the degree to which stressors such as conflict, workload, interpersonal relationships, career development, information access, physical surroundings, career prospects, management style, job enrichment, rewards, and job security are all factors that influence job satisfaction. Conflict, excessive workload, and a lack of job autonomy were shown to be negatively correlated with all job satisfaction characteristics, whereas a lack of information access and feedback was found to be positively associated with employees' satisfaction with rewards and job security.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey methodology was utilized to collect data from physicians and nursing staff in Yemeni hospitals. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the questionnaire data. Reliability was measured using Cronbach's alpha, and validity was determined through Pearson's coefficient. Results: Infection control measures were well implemented overall, particularly in the realm of hygiene. However, there were discernible deficiencies in the isolation rooms. Further deficiencies were also noted in the provision of sterilization indicators, the isolation of respiratory patients, and the education of patients and visitors. These inadequacies are likely attributable to a confluence of factors, such as financial constraints, insufficient policies and training, temporal exigencies, communication breakdowns, and infrastructural limitations. Conclusions: Despite good adherence, enhancing infection control requires implementing targeted strategies specifically designed to address the identified deficiencies. These strategies include comprehensive staff education, the development of highly effective protocols, the upgrading of existing facilities, and the allocation of appropriate resources. Elucidating fundamental factors through investigations can facilitate tailored improvements. This study uniquely emphasized hygiene/isolation dimensions and patient/visitor awareness while validating high compliance and pinpointing areas for improvement in infection control.

The study was conducted in the largest hospital in Yemen, utilizing a case study design. A random sample of 284 nurses was drawn from a population of 1,200, and data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire that assessed job stress and performance levels. The study found that nursing staff experienced moderate job stress, with organizational structure being the most significant stressor. The nursing staff's performance was rated as excellent, and a moderate correlation between job stress and performance was observed. Notably, the work environment's job stress factor had a substantial influence on performance. These findings are consistent with previous studies that reported moderate job stress and a favorable relationship between job stress and performance among nursing staff in various settings. However, the study's emphasis on the work environment's impact on performance underscores the importance of addressing this factor to improve nursing staff performance. Hospital administrators and policymakers may benefit from implementing job-stress-reduction techniques, particularly in organizational structure and work environment aspects, as well as enhancing nursing staff resilience and coping mechanisms. This study contributes to the existing knowledge on job stress and its effect on nursing staff performance in Yemen, providing valuable insights for stakeholders and future research in different settings and cultural contexts.
