Reviews  Mar 31, 2020 Based on the visual novel of the same name, Trick or Alice is a disappointing, almost unnecessary thirty-minute hentai that never actually becomes a hentai. Besides some stills and a short-lived grope scene, the audience isn't treated to anything remotely sexual. Which is a shame, because the art and sound is actually really nice, the characters are cute, and for a genre that's kind of known for its rushed and sloppy presentation, this could have been quite a treat. In fact, this show is so devoid of its principle content, that if you were to edit out what sex it does contain, it would easily... pass as a pilot episode of a series for girls.
