So even if the attack on Prince Richard by a supposed foreign sniper fails to put his royal highness six feet under, it soon becomes clear that it's open hunting season for Royals when assassins strike again. Now Team White Pigeon's priorities must be split between locating the deadly Cavorite bombs smuggled into the country and protecting Princess Charlotte's sister Mary, the next in line... which, given that Charlotte herself is also a target and currently posing as White Pigeon's Ange, only redoubles the peril she's already found herself in! The fuses are primed, and the timers are counting down in the second shocking and explosive installment of Princess Principal: Crown Handler!(Source: Sentai Filmworks, edited)Background_Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie 2_ was released on Blu-ray as Princess Principal: Crown Handler - Part 2 by Sentai Filmworks on November 22, 2022.Related Entries Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie 1 Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie 3 MALxJapan -More than just anime- Characters & Voice Actors L L Supporting 7 7 Supporting Staff "LIES & TIES" by Void_Chords feat. Can't wait to see the next movie now. 9/10Up until now, the Princess Principal arcs have all involved trying to help someone else, or trying to keep the Princess' secret from getting exposed. Which is all interesting and helps in world-building, but the girls have never felt in danger or been up against an opponent who truly tested their abilities. I won't spoil any more, but this is the first arc that truly feels like the girls are up against an opponent that is one step ahead and stronger than they... are, raising the stakes a lot higher. The series is feeling a lot more like a classic spy action movie now.The setting, new characters, and music are excellent as always. If you liked the series or first movie, it's the same quality. It also has the best fight scene (both choreography-wise and animation-wise) in the series so far, and the girls are tested to their limits. The only possible negative of note is that the ending is a cliffhanger ending, so we're going to have to wait another year or so for the next entry. I for one can't wait! Reviewer’s Rating: 9 What did you think of this review? I can't reccomend it enough. The first episode sets the standard and there are enough solid gold episodes in the series to put it in the top ten of my all time favourites.I love spy stuff and the steampunk aesthetic but mostly its the protagonists like hard as nails Ange and secretly hard as nails Princess Charlotte who make it worth watching. I have a feeling they're not going to ever do this series justice. When I was in Japan I saw a note at the anime store from the director saying he'd finish the project if... enough people bought an Ange doll. Well I don't have an Ange doll but I will never get tired of A Page of My Story, for all its errors of lexical stress and I hope the fans can keep this going long enough to get to the resolution it deserves. xx Reviewer’s Rating: 9 What did you think of this review? Well, what can I say, the second movie is another great a sequel to this series.Score: 9 (It's 8.5 but as otaku I will appreciate it and can give full 9 however I would not be surprised if someone gave one point less or more)In this movie, everything fits together very well. The characters, the background of the story, especially OST, and other elements make it a beautiful spectacle, where it's impossible to get bored. In other words, most are positive sides so I'll focus on a few negative ones.Compared to the first movie, I think the... atmosphere was less interesting. The first movie was a masterpiece and the plot was wonderful. Here most things are more obvious. In addition, the way of defeating the opponents and solution to a disaster on a ship was quite typical for anime, where our girls were a bit too OP (yes I'm talking about a way to defuse the bomb). Also I would complain a bit about the machine-dragon in the theater, because I think that cadres of him was average in my opinion. The animation itself was okay, but somehow he looked too unnatural? On the plus side, compared to the previous movie, we learn more about the world of this story, mainly about the entire royal family and line of succession, which explains a lot and is very interesting. Overall it's a great show, you can see that the creators put in it a lot of effort. Definitely worth watching. Reviewer’s Rating: 9 What did you think of this review?
