The animation is very distinct compared to other build series's and in my opinion, looks a little better. A friend of mine said that it looked worse to him but I guess it is up to personal interpretation. Secondly, the opening. The opening is by Back On who've also sang "nibun no ichi" from build fighters, "cerulean" from build fighters try and also the opening, "the last one" for it's ova , island wars. So needless to say, the opening did not disappoint. They have also included many distinct ost's for the respective build series... characters. When an important character is seen in action, their respective ost's really increase the hype will likely give long term build series fans a little bit of nostalgia. Now, I am aware that this anime is meant more for marketing and a good conclusion for the build series, but the plot at best is mediocre, but for a reason. As previously mentioned, the show is for marketing, hence this is simply a strategy to sell more plastic models by wrapping up as many new designs in 3 episodes as possible. Don't go into this show expecting insane amounts of character development and to build a deep and lasting connection with the characters because it is simply impossible. To top it off, the plot armor for Rio is insanity, it's almost as bad as the holy Jesus Yamato's plot armor, it is just that bad, the fights are pretty mediocre and again, I will repeat this again, THIS SHOW FOR MARKETING PURPOSES SO DONT EXPECT MUCH. ( though some of the mobile suit designs are albeit pretty cool ).not really TLDR: Pretty good opening, pretty good animations, plot mediocre, fights were alright but it was nice seeing characters from old build series reunite together as that was pretty heartwarming for me. If you don't watch much build series shows or don't enjoy watching them, then this show is pretty much a waste of time, but if you did watch previous build series's, then might as well watch it as there are only 3 episodes and the characters all coming together in the metaverse is a little heartwarming for those OG's out there. I cannot believe that ten years have passed since Gundam Build Fighters.It is a bit rushed and of questionable quality, but I was happy to see those old characters reappearing. It may be a commercial for Gundam, but it brings back many memories and moments from the shows.I thought there was going to be 24 eps or something, but only three? At first I was disappointed, but considering the extension and making an engaging plot, I'm happy to have those three episodes and be opened for a continuation.It is a genuinely mixed feeling... of wanting more, but at the same time, it was enough. Nice0 Love it0 Funny0 Confusing0 Informative0 Well-written0 Creative0Show all  Oct 20, 2023 I'm gonna start off by saying that the animation is pretty good, the opening from Back-on is solid like usual, I kinda liked the setup and personality of the new characters, and seeing the old favorite characters show up was fun. The problem is everything else. This show feels like somebody had a whole plot lined up, but then at the last minute a Marketing Suit walked up and told them they had to cameo basically every major past character, making sure every new Gunpla they want to sell shows up, and they only had three 25 minute episodes to do so. So out goes... the plot development, with only the bare minimum kept to keep the story moving, and in comes a bunch of old characters to basically just hang out with the MC, who has been given a bunch of plot armor just so that he can keep up with them. The MC and supporting character developments are basically destroyed in the process, the pacing makes no sense, and all your old favorite characters just show up in their most marketable forms with zero attention to canon. Meaning characters that should now be older than other characters, show up like they haven't aged a day since their last appearance on screen appearance. At one point a character even asks how another is even there, and he basically replies "I don't know, it just happened".As a Build show fan, this is a very frustrating expirience. If you aren't a Build show fan, this isn't a good entry point, and I have no idea why you'd even want to watch it.Best to avoid unless you have thick skin and just want to see some favorite characters show up regardless of the context.
