Of course, it has the same feel, almost like they're the same anime. Long running series (hundreds of episodes) for kids about a boy and his robot companion. Both have very similar artstyle and atmosphere as they are based on manga by the same author. They are both from Fujiko Fujio and share completely the artstyle. In Doraemon, the main character (a robot) helps constantly the human, but in Kiteretsu it's the opposite: the main character (an human) makes the robot and generates new technology itself without the own tech dependence. Anime: Doraemon Both contains a boy with glasses as a main character. Korosuke share similar traits of Doreamon, Miyoko share similar traits of Shizuka, Buta Gorilla share similar traits of Gyan. They both have similar art style and friend ship with each others. They both contains use of high class inventions and Time travel is mostly used. They both have comedy and main character helps others even after being bullied by his friends. Both series shares a number of interests.
