She is an emergency medical technician (EMT) who scraped by to provide for her son, both by working long hours into the night and by selling high-priced and rare Cyberware she took off corpses to sell to edgerunners.Timeline:Gloria picks up a military-grade Sandevistan from James Norris's body, and wraps it with plastic to give it to her buyer, Maine. However, she ends up driving to the school to pick up her son, David Martinez, after he got caught using jailbreak programs at school.On their way back home, the two become bystanders at a gang attack and crash during the crossfire. Due to not having proper coverage, the trauma team bypasses her and David when they arrive at the scene. Due to that, David takes her mom to a low-end surgeon, who stabilizes Gloria's condition. However, the next day Gloria loses her life.Legacy:Gloria's son David cremates her mom's body and places it in a cheap, plastic urn. With his mother's ashes, David also keeps her EMT jacket that has the Sandevistan cyberware. From that point, David would find the Sandevistan and implants to himself, introducing himself to the world of edgerunners. This was the complete opposite of what Gloria wanted since she invested all of her income in David's education. She wanted to see David "at the top of the Arasaka Tower."
