Screw it - here's a good enough summary from a post:
So, where am I at, besides in the midst of an unpublishable epic, which is really only a substitute for the publishable one? I am not sleeping enough, eating too much, and not exercising; ergo, in pudgy phase. I am trying to quit ebaying like a rabid...well, like a rabid ebayer, I suppose. I'm stalling on my return to grad school; not completely, since the app. is in, but mentally, I drag my feet. I'm trying to burn all of my cds to mp3 in order to prove that I need an mp3 player, and coming to terms with the fact that I have terrible taste. I am still unpacking from a move 8 years ago, and finding that I have nowhere to put my books, and that spiders have moved into my hats. I am retired from a life of crime. I have lowered my expectations and no longer dream of running away with an a-list movie star or famous writer, but will instead happily settle for a decent character actor or a hack with some amusing qualities. (And if you're either of those, please do call.) I am working somewhere that could best be described with these lyrics: "Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right"
And here I am, stuck in the middle with you. Lucky you. If you want to hear more all about these topics, by all means, stay tuned.
