news and perspectives from all over the planet

many people complain about media bias, but most of them are only taking in a few popular sources, within their own country. this community is intended to broaden those perspectives a bit by providing news and commentaries from outside the US. news may be local, national, or international; cultural, poitical, or opinion. whatever people are talking about on the street in another country is fair game.

english links are preferred, but not manditory. both languages is great. if you only have the original language, try to at least provide a synopsis in english.

personal commentaries with a global perspective (especially from those living outside the US, or foreigners within the US) are also great. please, when you post or comment, try to provide sources or specific personal experience, not just stereotypes and rhetoric.
