New York Dreamers - A CSI Role Play

A Crime Drama Role Playing Game
This is a role playing game based on crime drama television shows, but original characters are welcome here also. Your character can be from any crime drama including, but not limited to: CSI: Crime Scene Investagition, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Law & Order, Eleventh Hour, NCIS, Without A Trace, and any others I haven't thought to mention.
What are we looking for?: Some one who enjoys role playing and enjoys a good mystery/drama. You don't have to be an expert on either just be willing to open your mind and have a good time and a little imagination. You must post once a week unless you let us know you're going to be gone for a while. We can't have interesting plots happen if half the characters are gone at any given time. This does not mean you have to start fresh thread/plot every week, you may simply tag the thread(s) you are already involved in.
Character Requirements: You don't have to keep your character exactly in line with what is in the show that they appear in. ie slash is welcome here but Grissom shouldn't suddenly start acting like Jack from Will and Grace either. Consistency is what matters regardless. Also not everyone has all the DVDs at home, I know I don't, so if you don't remember something about your or anyone else's characters backstory from any show, that you need or even want to know please feel free to ask. If no one knows the answer someone can help research it.
Other notes: Rps are to be done in the third person. No excessive God modding. This means that although your character can shoot or take a swing at another character it is that other character's player right to decided wether they are hit or not. And if the username you're using to rp w/ doesn't have something to indicate which character it is (making a character journal is up to you) please put something in the beginning of the post or in the subject line so it doesn't take players forever to figure out who they're dealing w/.
