This is a community for the discussion of the various works of Poppy Z. Brite (docbrite), the characters and places she writes about, and any authors she's collaborated with in the past. Discussion of her older, horror-based works is allowed, but the emphasis should be primarily on her newer works-- there are plenty of other places to discuss Missing Mile, Zillah's chartreuse-green eyes, and extrordinarily sharp teeth. This is a moderated-membership community, but we will make every effort to approve your membership request as quickly as possible. There are a few basic rules:

1. This is not a community for fanfiction, fanart, LJ community promotion, or role-playing. Don't post any surveys or quizzes either. Please lj-cut spoilers!
2. If you are only a fan of LOST SOULS and DRAWING BLOOD, please find somewhere else to post. Sure, they're great books, but there are other forums where you can live in the past.
3. No drama, no flamewars. If you're instigating, your post will be deleted.
