I'd like this to be a community where LJ users from the Northern New Jersey / Metropolitan Area who are Gay or Bi/friendly to post and have a place to say what they want (for the most part)

Northen New Jersey / Metropolitan Area could include any or all of the following, parts of...

* New Jersey!
* southeastern New York State
* Connecticut
* the City
* some of the boroughs
* Pennsylvania

I've seen some communities have rules and some don't. I think the items below are pretty much common sense - but I'll list them anyway.

* Please introduce yourself - even if its just to say "hi". This way, members will know when someone new joins.

* Minors are cool - as long as we don't have to read endless posts about how boring homeroom was. There are other communities for that - I'd like this to be different.

* No surveys - Many folks don't like them, and many more are sick of them. Again, there are other places on LJ to find this if you want.

* No advertising.

* Linking is cool, and lot of links can be fun - but please note what the link is to in the journal entry.

* Have fun ;-)
