The family is the entity of society, and women are the cornerstones of the family. There is no doubt that forming a family requires the availability of several conditions, the most important of which is the woman's ability to manage family affairs, as practical reality has resulted in the spread of the phenomenon of underage marriage. As one of the reflections resulting from poverty, the spread of ignorance, and adherence to some customs and traditions. This chapter aims to shed light on the psychological, health, and social aspects of early marriage and explain why it has become more and more common in society. It also aims to explain the legal framework that governs its confrontation as one of the most prominent forms of child trafficking. The study concluded that the need for an integrated community confrontation plan or strategy depends on enforcing laws and adopting large-scale mass media campaigns to spread public awareness of this issue and establish emergency lines.

Since then, a number of theories have been proposed regarding the extent to which mistakes made by artificial intelligence entities and systems may be held accountable, particularly in the area of criminal law. This chapter seeks to clarify this matter by discussing the legal obstacles that surround the question of criminal responsibility for artificial intelligence's actions. It also offers concepts, justifications, and factors that tackle this problem by using a comparative analytical and descriptive methodology. The chapter concluded with a proposal for international cooperation to develop a legal and ethical framework for the worldwide use of artificial intelligence. Given the anticipated widespread use of this technology in the future, governments could use this framework as a reference.

Research paper thumbnail of Digital Forensic Evidence in the Metaverse Technology

Al-Ma’galaẗ al-a'rabiyaẗ li-l-dirasȧt al-amniyaẗ wa al-tadrib, Dec 11, 2023

The importance of this study is evident in the light of the legislative vacuum that exists in response to all forms of violations occurring in the metaverse world. There is no doubt that the current criminal laws are ineffective in addressing successive technological developments unless supplemented by existing criminal statutes.
The research aims to shed light on the metaverse technology, its dimensions, characteristics and risks of its use. It also intends to examine the potential criminal patterns that can emerge in metaverse technology and explore strategies to address them, including methods for collecting digital evidence within the metaverse technology.
The research yielded a set of results, the most notable of which include the lack of legal texts regulating the use of this technology and addressing the new forms of cybercrimes committed through it. Additionally, it highlighted the inability of existing legal texts to effectively address these issues, along with difficulties related to collecting evidence from metaverse crimes. This challenge arises due to the unique nature of these crimes and the substantial volume of data generated by the use of this technology. Gathering evidence encompasses multiple domains, such as the user’s scope, service providers, and the metaverse platform itself. Furthermore, there are challenges in presenting this evidence before traditional courts, given its three-dimensional nature.
The success of law enforcement agencies in collecting digital evidence related to metaverse crimes depends on the extent of the cooperation of private companies from service providers and operators of the Metaverse platform. This cooperation is crucial to ensure that investigators have access to the necessary data required to complete their investigations.
The research concluded that there is a need for international cooperation to amend existing international conventions on cybercrime, with leadership from the Budapest Convention (the European Convention for Combating Cybercrime). Alternatively, there is an aspiration to develop a new international convention that regulates the responsibilities of metaverse service providers, obliging them to cooperate in combating crimes, monitoring infringements and violations, exchanging evidence and information related to such cases, and defining applicable laws and the criteria for their enforcement.

The pervasive usage of technology in all spheres of life may be traced back to the significance of the research topic. We have come to the logical conclusion that it is improbable that a traditional or new crime would occur without leaving behind E-evidence that may be used to identify the offender thanks to the proliferation of electrical and technological equipment and the Internet.
The research concluded that the effect of the changing nature of intangible forensic evidence on its reliability before the criminal courts, in a way that requires a precise legal regulation of this issue. The legislator defines a set of conditions for the procedures for collecting and documenting E-evidence to achieve the idea of its reliability and then produces its impact on the formation of the criminal judge's doctrine.
It is recommended strengthening cooperation with international organizations to exchange information related to E-evidence.
