The SOSAT was administered and the data generated was analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer research questions, while ANCOVA was used for testing the hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that there is a significant deference in the achievement mean scores of students taught Social Studies using flipped classroom strategy and those taught using conventional classroom strategy, and there is a significant deference in the achievement mean scores of male and female students taught Social Studies using flipped classroom strategy and those taught using conventional classroom strategy. The study concluded that flipped classroom strategy had more effects in gaining high achievement in Social Studies among male and female students. It was recommended that Social Studies teachers should apply the use of flipped classroom strategy to teach the students, and Kaduna State Ministry of Education should organize a training workshop on the application of flipped classroom strategy to equip teachers.

In light of these considerations, the study explored the impact of Table of Specification (TOS) on teachers’ economics utilization of written curriculum implementation in secondary education in Nasarawa state, Nigeria. The study was directed by two research questions with associated null hypotheses, and survey research was used. A sample size of 340 economics teachers were used, checklist and questionnaire were utilized as data collecting devices, and they were validated, and pilot tested, yielding 0.81 validity and 0.82 reliability indexes. The data acquired was analyzed using the means to answer research questions, and the One-Way ANOVA was employed to test null hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that, Economics teachers do not use TOS very often to assess student’s cognitive domain, there is no significant impact in male, and female economics teachers use of TOS toward implementation of written curriculum. The study recommended that Economics teachers should implements written curriculum (lesion plan, or syllabus, test, exam) in agreement with TOS, and Nasarawa State Ministry of Education should organize workshop to train teachers on how to use TOS to enhancing writing curriculum delivery in secondary education.

The instrument contained 20 items ''Test Anxiety Inventory (TAI) developed by Spielberger for data collection. Data were analyses using Pearson correlation, multivariate statistics and regression. It was found that a significant negative relationship exists between test anxiety scores and students' academic achievement scores, which a cognitive factor (worry) contributes highly in test anxiety than affective factors (emotional). Further results reveal a significant effect of male and female students on sub-scales test anxiety and academic achievement scores in educational measurement and evaluation. Therefore, it was concluded that test anxiety is one of the major treats responsible for students' poor achievement and low performance but it can be controlled educating students on how to handle factors responsible for test anxiety at the university.

To stimulate this, the scholars investigated the effect of Metacognition Approach (MA)on Agricultural science achievement of senior secondary students in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Two research questions with its corresponding null hypotheses guided the study. Quasi-experimental research design involving pre-test, post-test control group was employed. The population for the study consists of all 3,343 SS II students that offering Agricultural Science and 140 students were used as sample size of the study. 50 multiple-choice items entitled ‘‘Agricultural Science Achievement Test’’ (ASAT) were used as an instrument for data collection. ASAT was validated and piloted, yielding a validity index of 0.87 and a reliability index of 0.87 using KR20. Data were examined using mean and standard deviation to answer research questions, while analysis of covariance (ANCOV) was employed to test the null hypotheses (Ho) at the 0.05 level of significance. The findings of this study revealed that, there was a statistically significant difference in the mean achievement scores of students taught Agricultural Science using MA and those counterparts in conventional class. Further result revealed that, there is no statistically significant interaction difference in the mean achievement scores of male and female students taught Agricultural Science using MA and those counterparts in conventional class. Based on the findings of this study, it was recommended that teachers of Agricultural Science should use Metacognition Approach to teach will expend student achievement.

Three research questions, three null hypotheses were formulated, and cross-sectional research design was adopted. The sample size of 350 respondents, 50 teachers and 300 students were selected through stratified random sampling techniques. Questionnaire for Teachers and Students Perception on Measurement Error in Economics Achievement was used for data collection (QTSPMEEA). The instrument ''TSPMEEA'' was validated by experts yielded 0.79, and Cronbach alpha was used to determine the reliability of the internal consistency of the instruments which gave 0.80. Data collected were coded and analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) to answer research questions while Non-Parametric statistics (x) was used to test the hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. The study revealed that there is a significant influence between the perception of teachers and students on the influence of Measurement error in Economics Achievement, there is no significant influence between the perception of male and female teachers on the influence of Measurement error in Economics Achievement and there is a significant influence between the perception of male and female students on the influence of Measurement error in Economics Achievement. The study recommended that teachers and students should be counseled toward reducing or minimizing errors in Economics achievement before and after exam. Emphasis should be placed on moral instructions and value reorientation on male and female teachers to avoid awarding scores to students freely without them meriting it and educational stakeholders/parents should place value reorientation on male and female students to avoid error and any form of exam misconduct.
