Welcome to Painter Of Words! I'm Ramy (ramychan) and you've stumbled across my writing LiveJournal! I will be using this LJ as posting grounds for my fanfics, essays, original stories, poems, one-liners, drabbles, spur-of-the-moment ideas, plot bunnies, and inspirational snippets. Most of what I write will be fanfiction. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and so far all of my fanfiction is based on this series. I'm a Harry/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Ron/Luna, and James/Lily shipper, so these are and will be the ships that I write about, except for the occasional temporary ships for break-ups, etcetera. I have completed four H/Hr fanfictions and am writing a fifth H/Hr and a D/G + H/Hr fanfiction. I tend to write mostly one-shots, but both of the works in progress at the moment are chaptered fics. As of right now I only have G, PG, PG-13, and R-rated fics; time will tell if I ever write any NC-17.

All entries will contain one piece of writing, with fanfiction being the exception. I will post each chapter of each fic in a separate entry. Each chapter will be dated to convey the date that the chapter is taking place, not the time that I posted the chapter. When I do an archive post - which I will do with every story regardless of it having chapters or not - the entry will be dated with the time that I posted the archive. The archive will contain the title, pairing, timeline, rating, a brief summary, links to all chapters (if more than one), and any author's notes I might have on the fanfiction. An in-progress fic will be posted in real time and in separate entries by chapter; once finished, each chapter's post time will be changed to timeline time and an archive post will be created. All of my completed works are and will be posted, archived, and categorized in memories, and some (according to their type) will be posted on FanFiction.Net, FictionPress.com, and/or Portkey.Org as well. Links to my author accounts at those three websites are in the Links section on the journal.

I'm looking for constructive comments, beta readers, and plot ideas on the writings I post here, so please feel free to leave your thoughts! Comments are appreciated more than you know! :)
