Lana Del Rey is sharing her thoughts on one day starting a family.
The “Say Yes to Heaven” singer, 38, said that “there is more to explore” in her life as she discussed whether or not she plans to have kids in a new interview.
“That’s why God didn’t give me children yet,” Del Rey told The Sunday Times. “Because there is more to explore. I know people who’ve tested every water. It’s burnt them, like Icarus. But I’m willing to go there.”
The musician added that she eventually sees herself becoming a mom, noting, “I see it coming for me. We’ll see. We’ll see what melts the wings.”

Del Rey’s comments about motherhood come about after she confirmed she was single in an interview with Harper's BAZAAR last month.
The singer — who released a cover single of John Denver's 1971 classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads” on Friday — shared with the publication that she broke up with a recent boyfriend after he “didn’t get” her house.
“I feel like even the most chill guy doesn’t really want to chill here,” Del Rey said. “Sadly, part of you knows … that ain’t it. … That one shocked me. I won’t name names and whatever, but that one really shocked me, that person. That was actually the end of a relationship.”

The “Ride” singer told the outlet that her ex wanted the “idea of her” instead of who she really is, which was “a tough nut to swallow.”
“I’m learning how. I’m learning. I know what I want,” Del Rey added.

In her latest interview, Del Rey acknowledged the success she’s had in her music career after breaking onto the scene in 2011. “It’s weird. It’s not necessarily what I saw coming!” she told The Sunday Times.
The singer also addressed the negative impact the fame has had on her mental health.
“You really have to take care of yourself, because putting your faith in the public is like building your house in the sand. They’ll turn and turn,” Del Rey explained. “I’ve experienced that in all parts of my life."
She added, "People reveal sides of themselves years after you meet, so you have to ground yourself all the way down to your knees."
