I never thought about it that way, but it makes so much sense! The lumberjack hat thing was relevant to me...I found a hat that looked a lot like Little Pete's at a TJ Maxx or something a while ago. At the time, I was thanking hipsters for bringing the red and black checker pattern back so I could emulate Pete, but now I see that this was all really just Pete's doing in the first place! Amazing.
