Welcome to 
petitedoll. As you probably guessed, this is a picture community for any type of fashion that is extremely childlike and girly. If don't want to grow up, if you enjoy wearing cutesy, colorful and girly clothes, if you dress like a little girl, if you like to live in a fantasy world and pretend you are a princess or a fairy tale character, this community is for you. Any style is accepted here, as long as it is original, and as long as it fits the aesthetics of the girly side of childhood. Post pictures of your creative and adorable outfits and various images linked to the theme here and discuss aspects of this theme and of fashion.

The Rules
1) What this community is:
Primarily a fashion oriented community that focuses on creative every day childlike and girly styles. We want to see pictures of your outfits.It's also a community about the aesthetics of the girly side of childhood. It's basically community for girls who don't want to grow up! Art can be posted here, as long as it is on topic.A community in which a carefree, happy and childlike attitude in life is encouraged. Originality and individuality are also very important. =^_^= Be yourself, be happy!
2) What this community is NOT:A rating communityA kindergoth/cybergoth/punk/diy/emo/indie community: We are aware that these styles can be considered doll-like by some people, but they don't fit our community's image.A community about the book Lolita, even though a discussion about this book can be accepted if it's related to the theme of this communityAn adult baby/ageplay/fetish communityA community that supports pedophilia/lolita complex or a soft porn community
3) Images:Feel free to post images that are not your own, but make sure to tell us where you found them. Scans, artwork and other lovely images are welcome here as long as they are related to the subject.Big images under an LJ cut.More than one images under an LJ-cut.Please do not post vanity pictures of your face or yourself if they are not related to the theme of this community. A picture of a girl's face with a doll-like hairstyle or make up is allowed.You can post pictures of costumes, as long as they fit the theme!Pictures of models or idols, no matter how doll-like their faces are, shouldn't be posted here unless the model is wearing clothes that fit the community's image.No porn, no hentai. Enough said.Please don't post nude pictures of yourself. We might make an exception if it's done in an extremely tasteful way.
It's not that we are against nudity. We just don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention to this community.Please, no fetish pictures.
4) Advertisement:Advertising communities must be approved by the moderator.Auctions and sales advertising must be approved by the moderator, and will only be posted in a limited quantity.You can post the pictures of someone's auction, but please don't link to the auction itself, even if it's not your own!E-mail

5) Discussions and etiquette:Intelligent discussion is encouraged.This is an elitism free community. Rudeness and cattyness should be replaced by constructive criticism and kindness.A post might be deleted if it causes a flame war.
If you advertise a rating community without asking, if you cause too much trouble by being rude all the time, you will be banned from posting.
And most of all, please post! We won't ban inactive members, but we strongly encourage you to post in order to make this community a fun and active place.
