Prospective philosophy graduate students community
This community was created by 
oedipa as an off-shoot of the bloated 2006 philosophy entry over at 
who_got_in.
Once we've heard back from schools, this is a community where we can get together in a private and weigh our options, discuss our futures, trade secrets, and gossip like it's our job.
This is the place for current philosophy applicants to discuss their futures. This is not the place for perspective applicants to ask questions about the application process. Go to applyingtograd for questions about the application process.
Please make all posts friends only so that we can all feel free to talk a little more openly.
Finally, this is a closed community, so to read or comment on entries, you will need to be a member (and, of course, to have an LJ account). You can request to join by clicking on the link at the top of the page. I should add you within a day or two.
