_8:05 pm_[lwoodbloo] | Oh yes. Very nice. Okay, so how many of us got a copy of Dragons of the Sixth world? I've got a big ol' gamer boner right now, and you all know what I'm talking about. You get a new book and you're just like.....yeah. That's cool. So. Lots of secrets out the box in this book...the first being the first recorded Warren Zevon/Shadowrun crossover! Page 19! The painting of the smoking skeleton! Very Zevonesque. I think that this is evidence that Zevon is actually a drake and will be coming back when Ghostwalker returns. Ahem. Can we match up some of these 6th world dragons weith their earthdawn counterparts? I've done some already, can we come topgether on these? OH! And, who is Celedyr's sire's partner? I think it's lofwyr, but that's just me.I will post more whence I've crossreffed info from the ED dragons book which is available online. Tata! (4 Comments |Comment on this) |

_10:42 pm_[elordais] | New Seattle Okay, I'm not sure if New Seattle counts as post-FASA, but the copyright indicates to me that it does. So I think my comments fit here rather than the mainstream SR stuff. Anyway, I bought said sourcebook recently, and I like seeing how they updated stuff...however, the addresses aren't very clear for some of the entries, and they got rid of the LTG numbers! That's not that bad though, of course, one could just make them up and some of them are supposed to be secret I suppose, etc., etc. Skimming through it right now...I didn't know about Schultz disappearing...that was weird. And in the Arcology? Yeesh. Anyone know what happened with that? Okay, and now the thing I found most dislikeable about this sourcebook was the simplicity of the "black information"...plus only like the same people do it...I loved that part of the game, and whichever company produced this book seemed to have skimmed back on it (for whatever reason)...still, I like the book and it is useful for the adventure hooks in the back.Could also have used maps, definitely. That's all from me for now. _6:39 pm_[elordais] | Cycles of Magic Okies...so basically magic just cycles in and out of existence. Why?Is that too broad a generalization, and/or too stupid a question (like, that's not just a metaplot/setting device of some sort is it? Is there a reason?)Also, I reallllly need to read YotC. Desperately. Ravingly madly. (5 Comments |Comment on this) |

_3:38 pm_[elordais] | ROCK!!! Just had a random idea...since I don't know much about what happened in YotC and after (only what I've gleaned from the back of books and such), I'm not sure how feasible this story idea would run, but anyway here it is: I'd like to see some kind of Woodstock-like anniversary, or some kind of mega mega concert with tons of people, bands, and danger...great place for rocker-runners to play (on the less prominent stages--I'm thinking Warped Tour set up here, or at least the Warped Tour set up in Bristow, VA) even if they're not stars or novastars. Maybe update some of the rules from Shadowbeat, I dunno. RUnners could also be hired to do various things with this massive concert--prevent or perform a wetwork or intimidation thing, for instance--the possibilities are endless.Whadda the rest o' yas think? _12:18 pm_[lwoodbloo] | And so it begins. Yeah well. Here I am, your friendly neighborhood community admin. Like george clinton said, free your mind and your ass will follow. So get freaky. Let me begin with this. I have a fully formed, ready to run, campaign involving the Knights Templar, the Society of Jesus, and the Order of St. Sylvester. Now, let me hear your favorite whacked out storylines you aren't using now. I will also be inviting my peeps from elsewhere. Anyone you know who will be interested, bring em on. Remember. Always watch your back. Conserve ammo. And never. EVER. Deal with a dragon. (3 Comments |Comment on this) |
