A forum for discussing the arcing plot and intricate foreshadowing of the Harry Potter series, and speculating about the seventh book.

Really this group exists because I wanted to put forward some ideas that came up while re-reading the books in anticipation of the release of Deathly Hallows, but didn't feel like reading through the backlogs, or worrying about the developed ettiquettes, of the myriad existing online Potter communities.

Since there are such a lot of other Potter sites, covering such a wide and curious range of related topics, this journal focuses solely on the plot of the book series -- clues and connections fulfilled already in the first six books, and theories about the outcome of the seventh.

Off-topic material should be posted elsewhere among the aforementioned myriad, though links to interesting things are always welcome. Popular off-topics include discussions about the movies, about Potter-based RPG's or any sort of fanfic, news updates about filming or publication progress, and opinion polls, personality tests and other diversions; all interesting subjects, but this isn't the forum for them.

Other than that, just the basic rules -- be nice, or if you can't, be polite; don't take things too seriously; and no magic in the corridors.
