Ever had that “I feel fat today” feeling? Or your fat jeans are suddenly too tight? Have you tried several diets with little or no success? Considered alternative/extreme methods of weight loss? Ever feel like you are the fattest person in a room? Or my personal favorite, your mom starts nagging you about gaining a few pounds?

Do any of these describe you? If so, poundsbegone is the place for you.

In today’s crazy world everyone is driven shed those unwanted pounds. In the time of Atkins, South Beach, Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, etc, it is impossible for people to escape from the overwhelming feeling to be “perfect”.

Here in poundsbegone, we hope to provide a safe haven to discuss weight loss and provide support and encouragement. This is the place to share weight loss tips, work out suggestions, research information, and personal stories.

Please make all posts friends only.
It’s okay to debate diets, surgeries, theories, etc. Just no personal attacks on each other.
Please be kind, courteous, and supportive. We want this to be a safe place to talk about personal issues, and we don’t want people to feel uncomfortable sharing very personal information. So use the golden rule: “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”
