Poverty Magazine is a cooperative effort between like-minded (somewhat) individuals, all of whom have one thing in common-we all live in Northern Virginia. At first, the idea was somewhat reactionary to the concepts behind The Washingtonian, Elan magazine, and others, who only seem to represent the upper-crust that lives in, or has invaded this area. This isn't entirely devoted to budget living, though-from time to time, it's pretty certain that there will be political material, ideas, original writing or photography, anything we want to put up, as long as it's somewhat meaningful and substantial.
