Mashin Sentai Kiramager The Movie: Be Bop Dream (original) (raw)
Mashin Sentai Kiramager The Movie: Be Bop Dream (魔進戦隊キラメイジャー THE MOVIE ビー・バップ・ドリーム, Mashin Sentai Kirameijā Za Mūbī: Bī Bappu Dorīmu) is a Japanese superhero film that serves as the winter film for Mashin Sentai Kiramager.
Production[]
On March 8, 2020, Mashin Sentai Kiramager: The Movie was announced to premiere double-billed alongside Kamen Rider Zero-One: The Movie on July 23, 2020. [2] However as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that delayed the filming of Kiramager, the film's release was ultimately postponed.
On June 22, 2020, Toei announced that both Zero-One and Kiramager's summer films would be postponed until a new release date can be determined.[3]. With Zero-One's film confirmed to premiere in December alongside Saber's film, Kiramager's film was postponed to premiere triple-billed with two additional films based on Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and the "new Super Sentai" (later revealed to be Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger) on February 20, 2021.[4]. A poster was revealed, leaving Zenkaizer silhouetted until Zenkaiger's announcement press conference, when the poster was updated to show all three.

Synopsis[]
The Kiramagers face off against the witch Minjo, who controls dreams. The heroes experience the feeling of falling off a building, swimming with a giant gold fish, being shot by a gun that turns them into a puppet, and having a shaved ice maker over their head. Errors[]
- As Minjo brings her scythe down in an attempt to kill Galza, a yell is heard but her mouth is not open at all.
Notes[]
- This is the first Summer Movie to be moved from its official year.
- The title of this movie is a reference to the manga Be-Bop High School (ビー・バップ・ハイスクール, Bī Bappu Hai Sukūru), especially its 1985 live-action movie adaptation.
- During a sequence where Muryou Hakataminami attempted to wake the Kiramagers up, he sang "PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)", a viral song that was originally sung by his actor Daimaou Kosaka under his stage name, Pikotaro.[12]
