I am a spiritual person. I was raised Catholic but I am very interested in many faiths. My views don't really fit into any one religion. Seldom do the words of a prayer touch me the way that the Prayer of Jabez have. As I read through the book, something began to happen to me, though I can't quite explain it.

This community is for anyone who has read or plans to read the Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson. This is a place to record your own journey with this prayer as a guide or to discuss the meaning of the words.

The prayer of Jabez:

And Jabez called

on the God of Israel saying,

"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,

and enlarge my territory,

that Your hand would be with me,

and that You would keep me from evil,

that I may not cause pain."

So God granted him what

he requested.
