"Quote of the Day" was started in March of 1998 by Todd VanDerWerff as a way to amuse himself and a few friends with stories of his daily hijinks. It soon grew by leaps and bounds. In addition to the daily quote, a serious quote selected by Nebbie, a web site of the day, and a trivia question of the day selected by Jill were included. At its highest point in May of 1999, QOTD had over 2,000 subscribers!

During his college career (from Sept. of 1999 to May of 2004), Todd let QOTD fall by the wayside, though he occasionally restarted it. Now, it's back as a blog and so are Todd, Nebbie, and Jill. We also welcome you to say hello to new contributer Libby.
