| | More 7th Heaven awesomeness:16 year old pregnant girl to her 25 year old boyfriend: "If you loved me you wouldn't have had sex with me when I was 15 years old!" 16 year old boy to his 16 year old pregnant girlfriend "How could you go out with my brother, knowing you were going to have this child?" Her response: "I wanted to get back at you for doing this to me" Then the 16 year old boy breaks down into tears, cause that is what tough kids say. Also the B plot is 15 year old Lucy thinks she wants to have sex with her boyfriend, Matt figures it out, and runs all over town trying to track her and the boy down to stop them. And I finally made my Happy icon!!Tags:7th heavenMood:sillyMusic:7th Heaven - Let's Talk About Sex First - Matt pays a guy to go out with his sister after the guy says he won't date her because "she looks like the kinda girl that will give you a hard time, you know?" DUDE you really want this guy going out with your sister? Guess so!Now you know something bad is going to happen, and it does. The paid date shows up, Matt pays him off, the mom sees and instead of YELLING at him for paying a guy to date his sister tells him this is going to end badly! Good parenting there! Then we see Mary on the date and she's having fun! and he's having fun! Then Mary finds out that the date was paid, she gets all mad, yells, slams door, etc. Of course it all works out in the end. Second - Lucy doesn't get invited to a party, Mary over hears these girls talking about it and how they invited "Shelby" (a geek) and they way they are talking about it sounds like they invited her to mock her. Mary then asks why they didn't invite Lucy, and then they all give each other evil teenage girl looks and invite Lucy. The slumber party - The girls tell Lucy to get under the bed and hide so Shelby doesn't know she is there. Then they tell Lucy they are going to say things about her until Shelby joins in and gives her real opinion of Lucy. You just KNOW this is going to bad, but Lucy gets under the bed anywayNow my question for the flist - Did anyone actually play games like this in 9th grade? I must have hung out with the wrong crowd but I don't remember malicious sleepovers and evil games being part of the deal. Okay so the game gets going and Lucy is crying under the bed and then the girls bring her out and Shelby and Lucy stare each other down and the mean evil girl says "Welcome to the Club!" Lucy finds a way to go home, gets all mad at Mary for getting her invited. Of course everyone makes up in the end and Lucy decides she doesn't want to go to the parties anymore. I really think Happy (the dog) is the best character on the show. I tried to find a Happy icon but I found a bunch of bad communities instead. OH, the episode ends with the mom and dad breaking their bed and all the kids running in and laughing cause that's just soooo funny.Tags:7th heavenMood:sillyMusic:SG1- Enemies 7th Heaven really likes to hit you over the head with the message. In the rerun I caught tonight we see Shiri Appleby is a gang member. Of course this is A. Very. Bad. Thing. Before we know she is in a gang we see her wearing: low riding baggy pants, she had a huge belt with an insignia on it, she a tank top and an over sized flannel shirt. From her clothing everyone figures it out and they confront her and she acts all punky and defiant and says "she can handle it" The good Reverend goes over to her house and convinces her parents do a search of her room to look for her "gang paraphernalia" but they don't find it. Later he comes back with the idea she might have hidden it all in her little brothers room so they go in. Under the little brothers mattress they find:Brass knuckles, assorted chains (like huge chains), a nun chuck, misc. baggies of pills (blue ones AND white ones), envelopes with powdery stuff, various knives (like 6 of them), sandpaper, a bandanna, needles, bundles of money falling out of an envelope, and a few things I didn't recognize. It was insane. They confront her again and she says "she can get out" and the reverend tried to tell her they would hurt her but she wouldn't listen. Cut scene to her in the hospital with the crap beat of out her covered in cuts and bruises. The episode ends with the Reverend looking a TV and you hear sirens going in the background and the man on the TV says in a deep voice. "It's Ten O'Clock do you know where your children are?"This episode affirms my love/hate relationship with this show.Tags:7th heavenMood:cheerfulMusic:Desperate Housewives Top of Page | |
