| | (1) I made an awesome dinner tonight. Lemon Peppercorn chicken with stuffed Mushroom caps and Cheesy potatoes. YUM. Husband was an hour and a half late, but everything was still yummy.(2) Kenny and Dolly's Christmas Album makes me SO HAPPY. Seriously these songs are so awesome. I grew up listening to this, and it brings back happy memories. Also, the song "A Christmas to Remember" about the slutty once a year hookup between Kenny and Dolly is so fantastic in it's datedness. (3) Sony has fixed my Laptop and it's due to arrive back at my house tomorrow.(4) My coat is still MIA, however there are quite a few other people missing/with the wrong coats, (a lot of alcohol was consumed) so the Bride and MOH are trying to work it out. There is hope!(5) Heroes! I am so glad I gave that show a second chance. It's good. (6) I have 90% of my Christmas shopping done! And I know what I'm pretty sure what I'm going to buy for the other 10%. (7)
miss_porcupine has a fabulous serial going on in her LJ here, and I look forward to it every day. It's Lorne-centric, but has a side of Sheppard, McKay, Ronon, Teyla, and very well developed OC's. :-)(8) I talked to smittywing on the phone today! Yay. (9) I found a new place to board Sam for the Christmas holidays. And I feel WAY better about it then leaving her at the vet. (10) I'm going on a baking spree this weekend (I'm making holiday cookies for the Court Security Officers) so if anyone has a good ginger snap or snickerdoodle recipe (or any other cookie recipe) please share!Tags:christmas, cooking, life, sam, squee, tvMood:cheerful
