It has gained increasing attention giving the emergence of new information technologies and their affordances for e-governance and governments. This study examines the proposition that privacy information transparency is amiable to mitigating privacy fatigue in e-government. The study identifies the antecedents of privacy information transparency of an e-government website, and its influence on privacy fatigue manifested in emotional exhaustion and cynicism. A survey conducted in Cyprus harnessed user responses, and the data analyzed using a partial least square structural equation analysis method. Findings reveal that; (1) user data collection and data use information aspects of online privacy significantly impact privacy information transparency; and (2) privacy information transparency positively impacts both cynicism behaviour and emotional exhaustion. This study extends the concept of privacy fatigue into e-government and contributes to an empirical evaluation of its relationship with privacy information transparency.

The research conducted aims to fill the gap of literature related to social media use during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims at uncovering the influences of social media use in several dimensions during lockdown(s). The study aims to answer the research question of: Are the influences of social media use different from normal times? The online questionnaire has been completed by six hundred and sixty-eight users within the period of lockdown. The author prepared the questionnaire, which is composed of 22 positive statements in order to evaluate the effects of social media use during the COVID-19 pandemic. A 5 point Likert scale was used, where reliability and validity were calculated by the Cronbach's alpha value, which was 0.751. Findings highlight that users have more information about COVID-19, and they follow recent information via social media, which shows the shift towards digital medium. Findings also indicate that users are aware of fake news, and they follow official sources. Social media is powerful to affect decision-makers, and respondents' social media use did not create any panic or anxiety amongst them. This research indicates that respondents' social media use during COVID-19 is different from normal times as a common purpose triggers this, survival. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, most of social media shares were like a dream or a strong desire that may cause anxiety in others. During the pandemic, people are in lockdown and share similar feelings and follow similar behavioural patterns. As there is a common purpose and struggle via users, psychological well-being is not affected negatively. 2020, where there were 118,000 cases spread to 110 countries [2]. For example, previous research has indicated that a physician’s Tacit Knowledge Capacity (TKC) is affected by social software and social media. This creates opportunities to carry out new research on different occupations that have an intense TKC. As part of this research, a survey was conducted in order to assess the TKC of lecturers in both Germany and North Cyprus. These are two countries that have universities providing knowledge management programmes. The research determined the TKC in both countries and compared the two in order to determine if cultural factors affect the TKC of t...

Livelihoods are being lost, and it is becoming tough to save lives. ese are the times to think of unprecedented solutions to the financial challenges being faced. Artificial intelligence (AI) has provided a fresh approach to finance through its implementation in the prediction of financial market prices by promising more generalizable results for stock market forecasting. Immense literature has attempted to apply AI and machine learning for predicting stock market returns and volatilities. e research on the applications of AI in finance lacks a consolidated overview of different research directions, findings, methodological approaches, and contributions. erefore, there is a need to consolidate the extant literature in this upcoming field to consolidate the findings, identify the research gaps in the existing literature, and set a research agenda for future researchers. is paper addresses this need by synthesizing the extant literature in the form of a systematic review for addressing the use of AI in stock market predictions and interpreting the results in a narrative review. e gap formed through this article is the use of a combination of AI as a subject with the neural network as another area and stock market forecasting as another theme, and it will pave the way for future research studies. e analyses help highlight four important gaps in the existing literature on the subject.

Social media become one of the most used communication methods of recent era. It could be argued that social media is replacing traditional communication mediums, being acti ve on social media become a must for many of the organisations. Social media further enables people to express their ideas freely and independently. In spite of the fact that tension might arise by social media, it is a medium of expression without any censorship. Big data is the second trending area. Big data plays an important role in the decision making process of organisations. It enables institutions to take strategic decisions based on the analysis made by available data. Furthermore, as the complex the data gets, it becomes more valuable for the firms. Based on the available data, artificial intelligence can play part, where machines replace the need of human decision making and give decisions accordingly. In spite of the fact that European Data Protection Regulation started to regulate the stored data of European citizens, the companies still have and control enormous data about the users. On one hand, technology improves every day, where machines or algorithms can decide what we like based on the previous data they store, track or follow. On the other hand, in spite of the fact that there is advanced technology, improving e-decision is a serious challenge for decision makers. Within this research, a conceptual model (Engage) is proposed to discuss opp ortunities in order to improve e-decision making of public sector institutions by effective utilization of Artificial Intelligence.

Corporate social responsibility activities (CSR) are accepted as a way of managing intangible assets and aligning organizational values to knowledge management (Pandey and Dutta, 2013). CSR can involve bringing together social responsibility projects and innovation and using social engagement as a strategic instrument for knowledge generation (Maxfield, 2008). In this paper, the authors argue that investing in a regional strategic CSR project and combining it with innovative elements may enable new interactions across sectors for the generation of new knowledge. A case study is conducted focusing on the software giant SAP and a model is proposed to analyze SAP's corporate culture, its emergence and its effect on the type of CSR activities for knowledge generation and the formation of human capital with an emphasis to the future.

Research paper thumbnail of Tacit Knowledge for Strategic Advantage: Social Media use of Employees in the Financial Sector

The tacit dimension of knowledge is an important area to research due to its complexity. The fina... more The tacit dimension of knowledge is an important area to research due to its complexity. The financial sector as a service provider is characteristically described by the intensity of knowledge its employees carry, which can take different forms and can be communicated from the uncodified to the codified dimension (Rooney et al., 2012). Tacit knowledge in the financial sector needs to be protected, since it forms the competitive base of a firm that is active in the financial sector. Determining how the tacit knowledge is absorbed and transferred will therefore be effective for companies. Removing knowledge impediments increases the adaptation/absorption of knowledge. Particularly due to the increased use of social media, the risk of knowledge leakage has increased dramatically in recent years (Sarigianni et al., 2016). This task has become more challenging, since tacit knowledge that needs to be protected from leakages also needs to be a part of the inter-employee knowledge sharing system within a financial sector firm in order to become shared knowledge (Serenko & Bontis, 2016). Based on these challenges, the present study focuses on the social media use of employees in the financial sector. The authors conducted a survey with financial sector employees within Cyprus to contribute to the ongoing debate over capturing tacit knowledge for competitive advantage and recognizing potential threats due to the intensive use of social media.

(2015) stated that there have been limited international comparisons and studies of knowledge management (KM) in the public sector. In addition, in spite of the importance of KM in renewal processes, creating a KM culture in the public sector is more challenging than in the private sector (Edge, 2005). When it comes to the public sector, a large amount of scepticism is prevalent in regards to the capacity for innovating public policies, organisations and services (Sørensen and Torfing, 2012). Supporters of the status quo are often intransigent in the face of change, while the general public , who are used to a certain way of doing things , can be resistant (Balogun et al., 2015). Political interests can also influence vision and targets within the community, which could limit the capacity for knowledge innovation in the public sector (Amayah, 2013). The potential benefits of innovation networks for organisations are that they can help reduce the cost of exploring and testing new innovative process es and products in ways that were previously unexplored, due to the inaccessibility of knowledge from other fields (Levén et al. 2014). Thus, interacting with other organisations and extending beyond the organi sation's own field of operation could enable better innovation in terms of a wider range of knowledge, generated by a diverse network. As a result, this paper consists of primary research conducted on non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in two countries. Firstly, it will identify the knowledge enablers that are key to managing knowledge produced in the NGOs. Secondly, the paper seeks to provide a benchmark study to enable networks for innovation in managing knowledge. There are currently only 15 articles that provide international comparisons about KM (Massaro et al, 2015) and this paper aims to fill this gap in the literature.

not a new concept, the sharing of tacit knowledge at the social media environment has recently been discussed in the last
decades. There are mainly two important approaches on sharing and capturing the tacit knowledge. The first one is about
the possibility of sharing tacit knowledge by using social networks tools. For example Hildrum (2009) and Lopez-Nicolas and
Soto-Acosta (2010) mentioned that IT can trigger sharing of the tacit knowledge. The second one argues that it is almost not
possible to share tacit knowledge by using IT tools. Sagsan (2003) argued that according to the mental models, transmission
stage is problematic which includes common sharing and diffusion within an organization among stakeholders. Likewise,
Flanagin (2002), Johannessen et al, (2001), Hislop (2001) and Haldin-Herrgard (2000) argued that though tacit knowledge
sharing via IT is almost impossible. This paper argues that social media can be used effectively to increase the tacit knowledge
capacity. As the people need to be contacted from their preferred medium of choice (Fill, 2011) it will be suitable to use
social networks to share the tacit knowledge within organizations. The empirical part of this study concentrated on physicians
in order to understand how the tacit dimension of knowledge capacity could be diffused or captured. Questionnaire had
been conducted to 138 physicians who works in North Cyprus and the regression models indicates that Seniority of
Employees and the Speed of Adaption of Innovation affects both Tacit Knowledge Accumulation and Tacit Knowledge
Transfer.
