Ok, level updates first. I reached the 700 total level! (yeah, I know I am lazy)Those levels were in 3 in mining (64 right now), 2 in smithing (54), 1 in agility (35), 2 in hunter (21), and 2 in strength (4). Woops. I got those strength levels by beating up a dude while doing the Shield of Arrav quest for a friend. My combat level went up to 15 because of that.

Darn, I just realized the TzHaar aren't going to call me JalYt-Mej anymore, I'll probably a JalYt-Ket D:

Anyway, those levels only took me to 699 total. All that mining and smithing was dedicated to making cannonballs, so I cashed those in and bought big bones. As a result of those bones, I am now at 92 prayer!

So, now the news...

Usually, I would take time to post some levels I advanced before I spam the news, but I feel too lazy to look up my levels. I gained a couple mining levels; I think I am at 61 now.

As a side effect of this Z-buffering update, the wilderness ditch didn't quite look right. Jagex's solution was to change it into a low and crumbling wall, which in my opinion looks much prettier and more logical than the ditch did.

But, as a side effect of that, many high level green dragon botters were caught at the wall wondering that the hell to do. Both the J-mods and players noticed this immediately, and J-mods took the opportunity to ban many green dragon botters now that there was clear and concrete evidence that bots were being used. Meanwile, players tortured the bots by asking for their levels over and over again. The bots, being of a recent vintage, were able to respond, but did so without getting frustrated at the spammy questions. After many bots were banned, the players managed to lure some of the J-mods to Aubury's runeshop for another round of public bot banning. Well, there was news that I should have posted, but I was busy with bonus XP weekend stuff. :D So, some of this will be old news, but whatever. Just poking the community to make sure it's still alive.

Anyhow, for bonus XP weekend I decided to avoid fishing completely and this is the result:
Mining : I think I started at 49, I am now at 56.
Smithing : I started out at a useless 28 or something, now I am at 51 :D

Mainly, I did this because during Cryptic Clue Fest II, I was shocked to found out that although I could mine gold, I couldn't smelt it! Also, I was completely useless at Stealing Creation unless some one was willing to make me high level tools.

Unfortunately, I did not get around to training crafting, which I really need to do. Its at a measly 39. I suppose I should work on runecrafting and fletching too. UGH.

I am a bit disappointed, since I was expecting an update to the player character models to come with this update. In this video, at least in the second half after Mod Moltare starts speaking, you can see various human characters (including the player character) have had their black triangular eye slits replaced with something more representative of human eyeballs (notably white schlera). There also appear to be some new graphics to hitsplats, but I have not experimented with that yet to see if that made it into the game yet.

There is, however, Ali Tist [SPOILER ALERT- do not click link] in Falador. I suppose I can go there and stare at him and feel jealous of his finely detailed face.

Ok, I was planing on showing a screencap, but I must have forgotten to save the image. Oh well, it was nothing exciting, just me standing next to Larry at the Ardougne Zoo

Anyhow, I cashed in some penguin points and reached 90 prayer. Yay me! Let's see, other accomplishments... I have been leveling in fishing (now at 96), herblore, and farming. I think I may have leveled in hunter as well. According to my adventurers log I also leveled in Agility somehow

Looks like it has to do with the project Jagex has just announced, sorta. They recently put up a teaser trailer on youtube War of Legends but apparently announced it sometime in the middle of December

Question - Slayer Task

Hey everyone! I have a question about a Slayer task that I just got.

Sumona just assigned me to kill Spiritual Warriors. I know they're in the Godwars dungeon, but when I read that that's where they are, I got so scared haha.

My question is this: what equipment should I bring? I want to melee them as I'm training for 99 defense (I'm currently 96). I read all this stuff about having to wear gear from the other gods and almost dying from stats being lowered and...oh gosh. Should I buy guthans?

Can anyone help me out here and just tell me what I should wear to get in the dungeon and fight Zamorak spiritual warriors? Those are the only ones I want to kill for this task, I guess.

Any help would be appreciated. If anyone wants to contact me in game, my nickname is pequena_emi
