This research’s primary purpose is to examine the academic members’ perceptions of ethical leader... more This research’s primary purpose is to examine the academic members’ perceptions of ethical leadership practices and their role in organizational commitment, based on empirical data obtained from academic members at Charmo University. The researchers employed the quantitative method and used a survey questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which comprises six constructs (ethical leadership practices: fairness, people-orientation, power-sharing, emotional commitment, normative commitment, continuous commitment, and the survey administered to academic members in departments of Charmo University. The empirical data were analyzed using SPSS, and Amos 25, mainly to test the hypotheses. The results supported the research hypotheses that ethical leadership practices, such as fairness, people-orientation, and power-sharing, are related to organizational commitment. Thus, ethical leadership practices positively significantly influence organizational commitment. Results also showed that people-orientation and power-sharing are the factors that motivate the influence of ethical leadership practices on organizational commitment. This research contributes to the literature by representing that ethical leadership practices stand as the base for improving emotional, normative, and continuous commitment; the enhanced organizational commitment resulting from leaders’ ethical behavior contributes to improving the academic members’ commitment to their institution.

Due to the increasing importance of cultural diversity in organizations with globalization, the m... more Due to the increasing importance of cultural diversity in organizations with globalization, the management of cultural diversity and the effect of this management on organizational performance are the subject of the study. The survey method was used to collect the data, and the related survey was applied to the employees of the telecommunication companies in Iraq. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that cultural diversity management increases organizational performance with a strong effect coefficient. It has been determined that all components of cultural diversity such as color blindness, justice, equal access, cultural integration and learning have a significant impact on organizational performance. In particular, it can be said that organizations with culturally different workforces have a managerial contribution to the scope of the research, considering cultural diversity while determining their strategies. In addition, it should be ensured that the improvement of organizational performance is better understood and that the factors affecting organizational performance are clearly known by the employees. As a result of an organization's ability to effectively manage its culturally diverse workforce, it will be possible to satisfy a multicultural market and be preferred by multicultural customers. The fact that the research was carried out in a single sector can be expressed as a constraint.

This research purpose is to examine the influence of total quality management on competitive adva... more This research purpose is to examine the influence of total quality management on competitive advantage in some banks operating in the Erbil/Iraq, the research starts from a conceptual outline that takes into account the nature of the relationship between total quality management and competitive advantage. Accordingly, the research hypotheses developed, and in order to fulfill the research requirements, the researcher has prepared a theoretical framework, and made good use of the subject literature, then chosen the number of banks in Erbil city to perform and obtain empirical data. The research sample included (53) bank managers, a questionnaire was also established to collect data, to analyze data we using some statistical methods, and the hypotheses were tested. The results indicated that leadership, management of staff, information, and analysis, and customer attention have found to be strong predictors of banks competitive advantage in Erbil / Iraq.

This research is carried out to investigate employees' perceptions of the relationship between em... more This research is carried out to investigate employees' perceptions of the relationship between employee job satisfaction and organizational change. A survey instrument comprised five constructs, such as employee job satisfaction: management and leadership style, incentive system, internal work environment, job's nature, and content, and organizational change was designed and administered to employees in departments of the ministry of higher education and scientific research. The empirical data was collected from 400 respondents and analyzed using (SPSS/ Amos v24). The results showed the components of employee job satisfaction, namely management and leadership style, incentive system, internal work environment, job's nature, and content, were positively and significantly correlated to effective organizational change. The results also demonstrated that the job's nature and content, incentive system, and internal work environment were the significant factors that improve employee job satisfaction influence on organizational change. The research concludes that organizational change should be carried out in an atmosphere of collective trust. This research contributes to the literature by representing that the nature of the job and its content, incentive system, and internal work environment significantly affects organizational change.

The ultimate purpose of research is to analyze the mediating role of banking technology applicati... more The ultimate purpose of research is to analyze the mediating role of banking technology applications (BTA) in the relationship between intellectual capital (IC) components such as human сaрital (HC), ѕtruсtural сaрital )SC), customer capital (CC) and bank service quality (BSQ) dimensions: empirical evidence from commercial banks in Erbil city. The survey questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument; by partial least squares– structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), we analyzed the empirical data. The statistical testing results showed a positive
relationship between IC and BTA. Besides, IC positively and significantly impacted BSQ. The analysis also showed that BTA significantly enhances BSQ. The research also showed that BTA mediated the impact of IC on service reliability, service tangibility, banks‘ ability to inspire trust and confidence in the clients. Finally, the results revealed that BTA mediated IC impact on empathy and responsiveness to clients‘ needs and more willing to help the clients. This research contributes to the literature by demonstrating that modern BTA enhances the practices of IC components by mediating the impact of IC assets in providing high-quality bank service to clients.

The process of tourist attraction also has become a top priority in its movement, administration, and economic activities. The primary goal of this research, therefore, is to analyze the role of tourism edification in attracting tourists; from the employee's perspectives in the travel and tourism companies operating in Erbil city. Consequently, as a data collection method, the researchers used a self-designed questionnaire. While, the survey sample involves 132 employees, who randomly selected from different tourism companies to respond to the survey questions. The research's conceptual scheme and hypotheses are established that emphasize on the relationship and the effect between the research variables. The hypotheses tested by using the SPSS V.25, and EViews 9, as the results, the research reached to some findings, most significant, the research found positive relationship and effect between tourism edification and attracting tourists. Moreover, based on the conclusions, the researchers presented some suggestions and recommendations. The tourism industry has developed meaningfully, particularly in the past two decades. Perhaps the main reason is the development of transport, information, and communication. Thus, the world has turned into a small global village, in addition to the high interest that countries have taken in the tourism sector. It has a direct or indirect effect on other business sectors. Such changes do have a positive or negative impact on the performance of the academic staff. Information systems can also make planning simpler, particularly in large institutes where managers or heads of institutions often do not have a strong personal touch with the scene of the education process. Therefore, this paper aimed to examines the impact of the information system on improving the performance of academic staff at colleges and institutes-the empirical data collected from Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) in Kurdistan, Iraq. The convenience sampling technique used for obtaining data from academic members. However, through a survey obtained a total of 305 functional questionnaires, and evaluated the data using the partial least square PLS. The result suggested that the information systems have a significant positive impact on the performance of academic members. This research will contribute to the universities, both in Iraq and worldwide, in understanding how approaches for information systems are necessary to sustain a long-term relationship with the performance of academic staff.

However, in recent years higher education in the Kurdistan region realized rapid growth, perhaps as a result of e-governance implementation in the education system. Initiatives related to information and communication technologies help to provide world-class education. The introduction of e-governance in the higher education sector has resulted in a new, wider breakthrough. Therefore, this research aims to investigate to what degree e-governance enhances the quality of education and the growth of human capital. This analysis is conducted according to the primary-based quantitative research method. While, this method allows researchers to test the research's experimental data, which obtained through the survey instrument. A convenience sampling technique questionnaire used to collect data from individual respondents. The random sampling in this research involved three groups of samples, namely, educators, graduates, and some public university representatives. Hence the overall is 130 respondents. For the data analysis, we have used a partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The research findings confirmed that, while having some limitations, information and communication technology significantly contribute to enhancing the educational quality and improving human skills that make them ready for the competitive market in both local and international levels. The results of the research will contribute to potential researchers and scholars to examine the very problem from various perspectives further, calling attention to policymakers in this regard.

Abstract--- The ultimate goal of this research was to examine the impact of tourism service quali... more Abstract--- The ultimate goal of this research was to examine the impact of tourism service quality in improving the mental imagery from the managers' perspectives working for tourism companies in Erbil. Also, understand the concept of tourism service quality and its various dimensions. However, to collect empirical data, the researchers used a self-designed survey questionnaire. The survey sample comprises 136 managers, who randomly selected from different tourism companies to reply to the survey questions. The empirical data were analyzed using a partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), which is a common analysis method for assessing models, in particular with latent variables and their correlations. The findings confirmed that tourism service quality impacted the mental imagery of tourists in destination facilities in Erbil, which contributes to tourist satisfaction, and attracting tourists. The tourism service quality plays a vital role by increasing the level of tourist satisfaction through improving mental imagery. The results in this research supported the evidence that tourism service quality dimensions positively and significantly contribute to improving the mental imagery.

The survey questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument; by partial least squares– structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), we analyzed the empirical data. The statistical testing results showed a positive
relationship between IC and BTA. Besides, IC positively and significantly impacted BSQ. The analysis also showed that BTA significantly enhances BSQ. The research also showed that BTA mediated the impact of IC on service reliability, service tangibility, banks‘ ability to inspire trust and confidence in the clients. Finally, the results revealed that BTA mediated IC impact on empathy and responsiveness to clients‘ needs and more willing to help the clients. This research contributes to the literature by demonstrating that modern BTA enhances the practices of IC components by mediating the impact of IC assets in providing high-quality bank service to clients.

The researchers employed the quantitative method and used a survey questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which comprises six constructs (ethical leadership practices: fairness, people-orientation, power-sharing, emotional commitment, normative commitment, continuous commitment, and the survey administered to academic members in departments of Charmo University. The empirical data were analyzed using SPSS, and Amos 25, mainly to test the hypotheses. The results supported the research hypotheses that ethical leadership practices, such as fairness, people-orientation, and power-sharing, are related to organizational commitment. Thus, ethical leadership practices positively significantly influence organizational commitment. Results also showed that people-orientation and power-sharing are the factors that motivate the influence of ethical leadership practices on organizational commitment. This research contributes to the literature by representing that ethical
leadership practices stand as the base for improving emotional, normative, and continuous commitment; the enhanced organizational commitment resulting from leaders’ ethical behavior contributes to improving the academic members’ commitment to their institution.

The process of tourist attraction also has become a top priority in its movement, administration, and economic activities. The primary goal of this research, therefore, is to analyze the role of tourism edification in attracting tourists; from the employee's perspectives in the travel and tourism companies operating in Erbil city. Consequently, as a data collection method, the researchers used a self-designed questionnaire. While, the survey sample involves 132 employees, who randomly selected from different tourism companies to respond to the survey questions. The research's conceptual scheme and hypotheses are established that emphasize on the relationship and the effect between the research variables. The hypotheses tested by using the SPSS V.25, and EViews 9, as the results, the research reached to some findings, most significant, the research found positive relationship and effect between tourism edification and attracting tourists. Such changes do have a positive or negative impact on the performance of the academic staff. Information systems can also make planning simpler, particularly in large institutes where managers or heads of institutions often do not have a strong personal touch with the scene of the education process. Therefore, this paper aimed to examines the impact of the information system on improving the performance of academic staff at colleges and institutes-the empirical data collected from Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) in Kurdistan, Iraq. The convenience sampling technique used for obtaining data from academic members. However, through a survey obtained a total of 305 functional questionnaires, and evaluated the data using the partial least square PLS. The result suggested that the information systems have a significant positive impact on the performance of academic members. This research will contribute to the universities, both in Iraq and worldwide, in understanding how approaches for information systems are necessary to sustain a long-term relationship with the performance of academic staff.

However, in recent years higher education in the Kurdistan region realized rapid growth, perhaps as a result of e-governance implementation in the education system. Initiatives related to information and communication technologies help to provide world-class education. The introduction of e-governance in the higher education sector has resulted in a new, wider breakthrough. Therefore, this research aims to investigate to what degree e-governance enhances the quality of education and the growth of human capital. This analysis is conducted according to the primary-based quantitative research method. While, this method allows researchers to test the research's experimental data, which obtained through the survey instrument. A convenience sampling technique questionnaire used to collect data from individual respondents. The random sampling in this research involved three groups of samples, namely, educators, graduates, and some public university representatives. Hence the overall is 130 respondents. For the data analysis, we have used a partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The research findings confirmed that, while having some limitations, information and communication technology significantly contribute to enhancing the educational quality and improving human skills that make them ready for the competitive market in both local and international levels. The results of the research will contribute to potential researchers and scholars to examine the very problem from various perspectives further, calling attention to policymakers in this regard.

Accordingly, the research hypotheses developed, and in order to fulfill the research requirements, the researcher has prepared a theoretical framework, and made good use of the subject literature, then chosen the number of banks in Erbil city to perform and obtain empirical data. The research sample included (53) bank managers, a questionnaire was also established to collect data, to analyze data we using some statistical methods, and the hypotheses were tested. The results indicated that leadership, management of staff, information, and analysis, and customer attention have found to be strong predictors of banks competitive advantage in Erbil / Iraq.

Also, understand the concept of tourism service quality and its various dimensions. However, to collect empirical data, the researchers used a self-designed survey questionnaire. The survey sample comprises 136 managers, who randomly selected from different tourism companies to reply to the survey questions. The empirical data were analyzed using a partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), which is a common analysis method for assessing models, in particular with latent variables and their correlations. The findings confirmed that tourism service quality impacted the mental imagery of tourists in destination facilities in Erbil, which contributes to tourist satisfaction, and attracting tourists. The tourism service quality plays a vital role by increasing the level of tourist satisfaction through improving mental imagery. The results in this research supported the evidence that tourism service quality dimensions positively and significantly contribute to improving the mental imagery.
