The Sapphire and Steel LJ Community
Welcome to the LJ community for the cult television show, Sapphire and Steel! This comm is for all things relating to S&S, whether discussion, fic of all kinds, icons, artwork, links, news, the show's stars, Big Finish audios, reviews, vids - anything as long as it's directly or indirectly related to our favourite Time-fighting TV show.
If you've stumbled upon this comm by some strange series of events you can't explain and aren't sure what Sapphire and Steel is, it was a UK SF show running from 1979-82, written by PJ Hammond and starring Joanna Lumley and David McCallum as the eponymous 'operators' who fought Time in the shape of, er, flowers, clocks, nursery rhymes, photographs, and motorway service stations, and which was generally dedicated to being as mysterious as possible. It's awesome. We love it.
In addition, Big Finish have since made 3 series of audios in which the main characters were played by David Warner and Susannah York & anything related to those is also welcome here.
Rules of the comm:
1. Post anything you like here relating to S&S and have fun!
2. Please put any long posts, fic, large images, gifs/moving images, spoilers, & anything NSFW under an LJ cut. Thanks. When posting fic/art/vids etc., please use headers and warn for content as appropriate. All types of fanworks are welcome.
3. No character/ship bashing, trolling, spamming, and please play nicely with your fellow Operators/Specialists.
4. No causing time breaks and please don't tell the Transients where we are.
