Welcome!
S_L servers as a hub of information for LIFESTYLERS & PERFORMANCE ARTISTES south of the river. Primarily created out of want as opposed to need (!) S_L targets are
* WORK
* TRAINING
* NETWORKING
I hope this will emerge and grow into a buzzing and well visited community. I found myself searching through 'London' entries on LJ and found nothing that really grabbed me so I thought I'd create somewhere I would want to visit.
RULE ONE - Keep it Performance/Alternative/Localised
RULE TWO - You must live/work/frequently in South London.
-ADDITION-
There shall be regular updates of performance related courses, which are mostly free or subsidised and even auditions around the way. At some point in the future I shall start a dedicated Performance information board (PAID JOBS) for Actors, Musicians, Dancers and Artists & facilitators. NOW IN OPERATION!!
New information does not have to be constrained to the locality but YOU must reside or work in the manor.
So, there might be a needle-play workshop in brighton on monday, life-coaching classes starting in camden on tuesday, a greedy girls party in guilford on wednesday, new writing at the chocolate factory, southwark on Thursday, meet the models night on friday at beehive camden, the flaccid kinks playing at slimelight on saturday, graffiti artis masterclass at sevin kings on a sunday all the way back to auditon classes at the Actors temple!
