Fan club for Scott Matthew, best known for his work in Shortbus, Ghost in a Shell & Cowboy Bebop
Most recently Scott wrote and performed several songs in John Cameron Mitchell's (of Hedwig and the Angry Inch) recent film "Shortbus. -----Scott was honoured to have his song AMPUTEE used in the new documentary called " AN AMERICAN OPERA" by film maker Tom Mc Phee------in addition Scott has performed songs for the "Ghost in the Shell" The Japanese anime series, the "Cowboy Be-Bop" feature film(available on victor records) and has written lyrics for Billy Preston for the title song of Japanese Anime "Licensed by Royal".
“One of the best things about John Cameron Mitchell's wonderful new film "Shortbus" is the music of Scott Matthew, a little known New York-based songwriter whose extraordinary performances in the film will hopefully put him on the path to a successful career. Matthew plays quiet chamber pop, the spare arrangements punctuated by trombone and glockenspiel in a way that might be cute if it weren't for the uncommon power of Matthew's voice, a voice so drowning in sorrow and pathos that it pulls you down with it.” Salon.com
“Scott Matthew is an immeasurable help to the Shortbus soundtrack.” - Kevin Maher – The London Times ..
