You have stumbled upon our profile page. It's your lucky day. And to sweeten the pot, we'll give you even more reason to feel lucky just by letting you read on!

If you're here, chances are you already know what this is about, but we'll just tell you again anyway because two times are better than one. We're a trio of mad/happy girls who frequent FictionPress, which is how we met (Facebook developed our 'friendship' - we like to call it friendly rivalry/bagging). All of us are voracious writers, readers, lovers of Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate & part of a writing group called Incenerate (but we won't go into that).

One fine day, we decided to come up with a podcast that explores the seedy underbelly of what we call 'writing' & 'reading'. The idea was inspired by Scribbler #3, who listens to an inordinate amount of MuggleCast. Following her brilliant epiphany, she rushed to tell Scribbler #1, who responded enthusiastically to the idea (mostly because she had been listening to a lot of Imprint -a Twilight podcast- too and liked the idea of broadcasting her voice... not). BUT, we needed another co-host, thus leading to Scribbler #2's involvement and the birth of Scribble!.

Even though we would love to be able to put all our time into Scribble!, all three of us are poor, hardworking students who study by candlelight and plant yams in our family farms after school for money. However, we still do our best to provide a quality podcast on 'scribbling'. Scribble! strives to bring all amateur writers inspiration and solid discussions/debates on everything literary, together with a dash of fun and a sprinkle of light-heartedness. There will be guest hosts in almost every episode, lots of laughter and dissecting of just about every topic you can think of.

Our motto? It's never too hard to scribble. :)

SCRIBBLER #1: LOUISA (LOU).

(also known as preludity.)

A big hello to everyone who's reading this! I'm Louisa, also known as Lou to most of my close friends and the two other maniacs. Call me anything else and risk getting your head chopped off! (I make exceptions sometimes, though :D) I'm also more commonly known as angels and effects on FictionPress. If you frequent the Romance category, chances are you might have seen me there before.

A little something about myself: I'm 16 (17 in late December), a Singaporean, and an unfortunate survivor of the middle child syndrome. I love sunsets, long walks on the beach and frisky men. (If you understand where this came from, you ROCK!) Writing and reading are two of my absolute favourite things to do, and there's nothing that satisfies me more than finishing a chapter. Fear my lethal quote book. ^^

SCRIBBLER #2: RIA.

High-low! I'm Ria - the oldest scribbler. How do you do?

On fictionpress my account name is identical to my LJ username. I chose stringless-kite simply to prove that there

is a possibility that a kite can be stringless.

I think of myself more as a reader than a writer. I'm a closet writer because I'm embarrassed to tell most of my friends because I need to improve on many things. I prefer aging books compared to mint condition ones. When I enjoy a story, I tend to not speed read and, instead, take my time to indulge with every line.

I can go on, but then I won't be able to stop...so I think I'll cut my profile here. I'm terrible at expressing myself through words and whenever I write profiles I feel up myself so I try to keep them short. (My fictionpress profile is worse) Peace out. Yo! ;P

On that note, -waves- I'm Shruti, but since that's way too hard for anyone to say, call me Ree. I'd appreciate it. Because my co-hosts need to struggle to say my name. And they go shoot-me. Which is like, awesome, because I'd like them to die, but you know. -grins- Yes, I was kidding. I don't mean to be such a butthole.

I'm known as Listerine on Fictionpress, due to my inability to call myself anything but mouthwash, so yes. I'm a freshman in high school, so yep. I'm young. Way young. But you know what they say? The young 'uns bite..and that will hurt 'cause I've got braces. MUAHAHA. I am Indian, and damn proud, and I love everything to do with procrastination, reading, writing, laughing, singing, and television. And shooting clowns and getting sent to therapists. No, really.

What you should know? I'm like a Girl Scout who sells cookies. I'll make you buy them, but I don't bite. Or do I? (That's me imitating those cheesy movies again)
