The basic idea of control and novel resulting in topology are discussed. A particular example of a converter is presented below. The converter consists of a mains inverter supplying the load and a filtering auxiliary inverter. The output voltage space vector of the complex converter is composed of two orthogonal voltage space vectors. As a result the converter is able to generate 18 active output voltage vectors which are almost equal in length. Other properties of the topology based on orthogonal vectors' control are discussed in the paper.

The effect of these fertilizers on cation exchange capacity (CEC), organic matter (OM), and the possibility of contamination with heavy metals (HM) (Cr, Cu, Cd, Mn, Zn, Ni, Fe, and Pb) were studied on the soils of Alshati agricultural project at different seasons after forty years of fertilization. Uncultivated soil samples were also analyzed for comparison and considered as reference. Mean values of soil pH, EC, CEC, and OM ranged between 6.88-7.32, 0.14-0.26 μS/cm, 2.95-4.19 Cmol/kg and 0.49-0.53%, respectively, in all seasons. Concentrations of HMs were 9.50-38.38, 0.0-2.05, 0.0-0.47, 0.0-29.81, 0.0-13.85, 2.83-25.95 and 104-512.20 mg/kg respectively, for Cr, Cu, Cd, Mn, Zn, Ni and Fe. The concentrations of the HMs in the soil were found to be vary significantly with the seasons (winter, spring, summer, and autumn). However, no traces of Pb was found in the soil samples. The result showed a significant correlation between, pH, EC, CEC, OM and HM content of the soil. The geochemical index of contamination shows that there was no contamination with Cu, Cd, Zn, Pb, Cr, Mn, Ni, and Fe.

The CO2 emissions were tracked along with the extraction, distillation and conversion of the energy flow chain. The present results are based on real monitored data collected during the energy flow process from the oil fields to the refinery and lastly to the power plant. Its shown that to generate 1MWh electricity, 291 kg of Diesel fuel has to be burn, which in turn, 1141 kg of crude oil should be refined. The CO2 flow chart has been drawn for this process, it found that the total CO2 emissions are about 983 kg CO2/MWh, the share of oil industry sector which comes extraction and refinery are 0.97 and 5.43% respectively and the rest is from the electricity generation. The obtained results showed wide differences between CO2 emission factors that were tabulated in inventories approved by many environmental agencies for all categories. Furthermore, the followed approach in this research has increased the CO2 emission factors by 6.7% compared to the traditional approach and will give opportunities for fair competition for other electricity generation alternatives (such as renewable energy resources). This approach gives engineering and economic new dimensions to deal with the environmental issues, so that, the concept of optimization of engineering design can be applied from an environmental perspective. Accurate energetic and environmental data were presented activate the climate change policies and mitigation strategies, which can help politicians and decision-makers to draw their environmental policies more effectively.

Histology, immunostaining and scanning electron microscopy Histology and X-Gal staining was performed as described 7. For immunostaining of the sensory hair cells, cochleae were dissected out of the temporal bones and the anlage of Reissner's membrane removed to expose the organ of Corti. Cochleae were then stained, flat-mounted and imaged as described 16. Rabbit anti-PTK7 antibodies were raised against a PTK7 ecto-domain-Fc fusion protein (Zymed). Rhodamine-conjugated phalloidin was from Molecular Probes. Other antibodies were: anti-acetylated tubulin and anti-Ecadherin (Sigma); anti-PAX7, anti-LIM1/2, anti-PAX6, anti-Islet-1, anti-Nkx2.2 and anti-HNF3b (Developmental Studies Hybridoma Bank); anti-Math1 (gift from J. Johnson), anti-LH2 (gift from T. Jessell) and Cy3-and Cy2-conjugated secondary antibodies (Jackson Immuno Laboratories). Images were collected using a Bio-Rad MRC 1024 laser scanning confocal microscope and Laser Sharp image collection software. Orientation of individual bundle was determined by the vertex relative to the neural-abneural axis. 08 was defined as perpendicular to the row of pillar cells. Quantification of bundle orientation in phalloidinstained E18.5 cochleae was performed essentially as described 16. 315 control and 951 mutant hair cells sampled from the basal and middle turns of the cochleae of six embryos, respectively, were scored. Bundle orientation in the apical turns was not quantified due to an extra row of OHCs in the mutant. Scanning electron microscopy images of embryos and cochleae were taken at 20 kV on a Philips 525 scanning electron microscope upgraded with Semicaps digital image aquisition. Samples were prepared using standard protocols. Xenopus assays RNA synthesis, in situ hybridization, culturing and injections were performed as described 23. Xptk7 coding sequences were cloned by RT-PCR from mixed-staged Xenopus total RNA. Xptk7 morpholino oligonucleotides complementary to sequences surrounding the translational start site and control morpholino oligonucleotides were synthesized by Gene Tools (LLC): (1) 5 0-CGCAGAGAGCACAATCGGCCCCAT-3 0 ; (2) 5 0-TGCATCGC GGCCTCTCCCCTCAC-3 0 ; (3) 5 0-TTCCTGCCCCGGATCCTCTCAGTGC-3 0 ; and control morpholino oligonucleotide, 5 0-CGgAGAcAGCAgAATCGcCCCgAT-3 0 (mismatched bases in lower case). Each Xptk7 morpholino oligonucleotide alone caused NTD, with a higher potency when injected in combination. Neural tube closure of devitellinated embryos was scored at stage 19-20. Embryos with completely closed neural tubes were scored as normal; those otherwise were scored as NTD. Embryos with severe gastrulation defects were not scored. Time-lapse microscopy analysis was carried out as described 18 .
