Previous Entry Flag Next Entry[**Tags**|bread, cheese, chickpeas, harvati, lettuce, peas, spinach, tomato, vital wheat gluten]in a blender or food processor:1 can peas, drained2 cans chickpeas, ONE of them drainedblend until smoothmix in a bowl with:seasonings (salt, pepper, coriander, cumin, cayenne)and then 6.5oz vital wheat glutenform into ~10 pattiesbake on a greased baking sheet at 300F for 15 minutesflip them overbake for another 15 minutesput this between some flatbread with harvati cheese, lettuce/spinach/other greens, and tomatogrill to melt the cheesechickpea burger melts. yum. i was happy to find whole wheat flatbread, because the flatbread really adds to it.
