Do you smile to yourself at the sight of neon in the flashing in the night? Do you make companions stop the car so you can snap a few photos of some long forgotten roadside sign? Then this is the community for you.
We're not talking the contemporary retail crap that adorns today's facades, but the hip and cool, the fabulous and tacky designs from days gone by, either well maintained or decayed and discarded. Vintage signs. Neon signs. Motel signs. Restaurant signs. Ghost signs.
All are welcome to share photos of the signs that tickle your fancy. The only parameters are that they should be photos you have taken yourself, and please note where they were taken and anything else that might be of interest. Oh, and for pete's sake, keep the images to a manageable size and if you've got multiples put 'em behind an lj cut. Many thanks.
