~Edgy and Shadow start new band ILLFATE
As of now the quest for new personnel for SINISSTAR has been put on hold "indefinately". A 4 man project has emerged out of the ashes of what was SS and has forged a new path under the moniker ILLFATE. Personnel for ILLFATE is : Edgemont(voice/guitar/science)Shadow(bass/2ndary vocals/noise)/and Vial(guitar/synth). The drummer's identity has yet to be disclosed. The sound is described as "something totally unheard of ... it has a crushing level of fury as well as a complete understanding of itself ... some songs have huge melodic choruses and vast , cavernous beauty-others simply will leave you in disbelief over the incredible level of anger and destruction." ILLFATE will be recording and developing a demo in Atlanta with Producer/Engineer Brad Todd over the next months. All songs from it will be downloadable for free on the bands website: www.illfate.com (soon to be constructed)
When asked about the fate of SINISSTAR , Edgemont responded: "SINISSTAR is not dead. Just on hold while we work on something else. When we can give SS our full attention and write music for it , we will be doing that..but right now ILLFATE is our main focus."
Expect to hear it in late 2003~
