Morgan, Maud, 1903-1999 - Social Networks and Archival Context (original ) (raw ) Maud Cabot Morgan (1903-1999) was a painter in Massachusetts. She attended Barnard College, the Sorbonne in Paris, and the Columbia Architecture School. She also studied at the Art Students League with Kimon Nikolaides and Hans Hofmann. Morgan traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe and began painting in Paris in 1926. In the 1930s, she lived in Munich, Germany, and Murray Bay, Canada. From 1940-1948, Morgan was a teacher at the Abbot Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. Between 1938 and 1982, Morgan exhibited her work at the Julian Levy Gallery, Betty Parsons Gallery, and the Margaret Brown Gallery, among others.
