South Florida Tri County Area
September 26: There will be NO WARNINGS on infractions. There is no reason any member hasn't read the info prior to joining and posting, so therefore, anything that is counter-productive to the terms will be deleted and marked as spam - and you will be banned and disallowed from posting again in the community.
This is a community for people who live in South Florida. It focuses (obviously) on the tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach), but of course, the rest of state is welcome too. It was created because I couldn't find another one that wasn't bombarded with promotion posts and AOL speak.
1. If it sounds like a commercial, it doesn't go. This includes selling: your band, your car, your clothes, your home, a room in your home, your cat, your goldfish, your old bicycle, your TV, your computer, your virginity or any anything else in between. Do not advertise your community unless it pertains specifically to the tri-county area (i.e. 
canes_football) is fine BUT, please do not post it more than once.
2. Please do not post band or show advertisements. Those posts belong in the personals community. There are south Florida communities that cater to local bands and music events and promotion, but this is not one of them. My hope is for this to be a discussion community, not an event/advertising community. Please do not plug your band or your gig or advertise for yourself at all.This community is about discussion, and meeting people in the area with similar interests and maybe (hopefully) even making a few new friends.
3. PLEASE respect each other's friends pages and put large images behind an LJ cut tag. Please click here if you do not know how to use that feature.
4. No drama. Period. No picking fights, no antagonizing, no personal attacks. We'll go drive around if we want to be bashed and threatened.
5. Most importantly: have fun!
