SoftwareReview - collecting software reviews

SoftwareReview is not the first review community of its kind, but hopefully (with time and energy) it will grow to be the biggest and most active

first some rules:

  1. Do not post a review that has already been posted, instead comment on it
  2. Post a lot and visit often, this will ensure fresh material
  3. Follow the guideline below when posting
  4. Keep it clean (use your best judgement on what this means)
  5. The focus of this forum is software, but do not limit your reviews to just that. Reviews of games, websites, and music are also acceptable.

The Guide:
Title: The common name (include publisher/developer)
Filename:
Version:
Link: To either the file or the homepage
Type: Freeware? Open-source? Shareware? Demo? Payware? Put in the cost, if it's not free.
OS: Operating system needed to run the program
Rating: out of 5 (an system utilizing images will be in place soon)

Description: a short summary of what the program does (answer questions such as: What does it do? Why would someone want it? etc.)
Cautions: anything out of the ordinary (include: bugs, spyware, security risks, and any other general cautions)
Comments: Your review of the software (include: features, screenshots, reviews from 3rd party members with quotes, impressive and disappointing qualities, etc.)

This community may be used to create a database of software reviews and/or be the basis for a forum
all reviews will be appropriatly referenced

if you need to upload your screen shot to a server, please contact me (contacts listen above^^)

if you are a developer and would like your software reviewed, post using the Guide and in the comments area post that you would like it to be reviewed
