Welcome to Star of Heaven's journal!
I'm a college graduate majoring in English (I want to be an author) with anime/manga as my main hobby (actually, writing is my main hobby, but that's college-related). My posts tend to be a random assortment of fandom, college, life, random things that catch my attention, grumblings about minor annoyances, and the like.
I write fan fiction occasionally, and I have a fan fiction and icon journal at 
sterndeshimmels. I'm mostly a yuri fangirl, and I prefer yuri and het, as I like my female characters. I have some yaoi pairings I like, but I write them rarely. Lately I make more icons than write fan fiction, though, and I'll icon whatever I'm currently interested in.
Concerning pairings, I have a community for Weiß Kreuz het and yuri: 
wk_het_yuri. Check it out. I also mod candy_x_boy, a community for fans of the yuri anime Candy Boy. Check it out too.
In non-fandom related information, I am a pro-choice feminist. I make this quite clear in several of my posts. If you feel threatened by that, go somewhere else.
My current layout and mood theme are of Lucia Nahashi and Sumire Takahana from Venus Versus Virus, with lyrics from "Shijun no Zankoku" by Yousei Teikoku (translation taken from the Venus Versus Virus DVDs).
As for my friending policy, feel free to add me, and I'll most likely add you back, although I may not if a) I suspect you're a serial adder, b) you manually change the color of your entries, c) your journal doesn't seem to have a lot of substance, or d) I can't for the life of me figure out why you added me. If your journal is in another language and you friend me, I'll still most likely add you back despite not being able to read your entries (just comment on my journal occasionally so that I can get to know you). My native language is English, but I can also speak some German (so if you want leave a short comment in German on my journal, go ahead, but please, no long paragraphs).
