Hey all!I'm starting T in few weeks and I've got few questions:1) How does taking a shot feels like?And yeah, I do know it's all about a needles and it might hurt, but I don't mean it that way..I know some medications might kinda... sting, so is it like that with T or...? You get the point, don't you! :)2) How long did it take for you to see effects?Of course I'm interested in hearing how long did it take for you!Also, if someone knows some average times, I'm glad to hear them, too.Thank you, guys!

Advice? HRT + Travelling in Airports	[Jun. 18th, 2011\|04:39 pm]Starting Testosterone
so my grandfather passed away and i will be traveling to chicago tomorrow. i had to buy a plane ticket, even though i'm pretty stressed about the TSA scanner experience vs Body Pat Down, since I bind and pack daily. Now that I've started T, however, I'm also concerned because I will need to take my shot this week. Normally I take it on Monday night, but I'm not sure how bringing needles on a flight tends to go. Should I pack all of my stuff (cotton swabs, rubbing alcohol, T, syringes and the prescriptions on the bag and bottle packaging), AND my letter to begin HRT, my informed consent form, etc? I'll be gone from Sunday to Saturday. THE OTHER alternative, is to take my shot today (saturday) or tomorrow, a day early. I would like to swing my schedule so that I'm taking my shots on Friday instead of Monday ANYWAY, but when you take it weekly, does it really make a huge difference emotionally/physically to reset the clock a day or two ahead? i'm still only on 1/2 cc (50 mg) / 100 ml weekly, and it's been 4 weeks. I was originally going to start taking a full cc this Monday, but upped another RX (zoloft) from a low 25 mg daily dose to 50 mg daily a few days ago at dr's suggestions.with the funeral arrangements, it's too rushed to call the dr or my therapist, and it's the weekend. is this all extra worrying? should i stick to schedule and bring the right equipment through the airport, or take my dose a day and a half early?Thanks for any feedback. It's not easy to look this kind of info up, obviously.

hey, so i'm interested in using this resource since i've just started taking t. so, the names caleb, 24, my start date was 5/23/11 and i'm on 1/2 cc (of 50 mg/100ml)weekly. I took my 3rd shot this monday, 3rd week. so... commencing puberty, i guess. i'd love to get some more insight and info on other people's experiences, now that i've started this process.

muscle twitches	[May. 11th, 2010\|02:10 pm]Starting Testosterone
I'm getting muscle twitches around my injection site for 2-3 days after injecting... is this normal? It doesn't hurt or interfere with anything, but it makes me worry about potential muscle or nerve damage. I'm injecting .4cc of T enanthate weekly.

So, I gave myself my first shot on monday. The only problem I had was drawing up the T from the vial... I "drew up" .2ccs of air, put the needle into the vial, inverted it, pushed out the air, and then tried to draw up the T. No dice. I would slowly pull back on the plunger and only get little droplets of liquid. I did this at first with a 25g needle and switched to 23 after a few tries. Finally I just pulled the plunger back and waited for it to drip in slowly. Is there a trick to this, or am I just doing something really wrong?
