Promotional offers are typically redeemed for a monetary credit that can be added to an advertiser's account when they meet any necessary criteria. Google or our partners will occasionally offer promotional offers to encourage new advertisers to get started with Google Ads or existing advertisers to attain new goals. Google support can’t provide promotional offers upon request.

How it works

New advertiser promotions

New advertiser promotions are granted to advertisers who are using Google Ads for the first time. These promotions typically require advertisers to spend a specified amount on advertising to receive a specified amount in credit.

You’re considered a new advertiser if you’re creating an account for a business that has never advertised with Google Ads or if you’re expanding an existing business to a different country (with a new billing address).

Example

Sarah is an entrepreneur in the United States who opened a restaurant last year and launched a Google Ads account to help promote her business. After finding success on the platform, she decides to create a new Google Ads account to promote her consulting firm. Sarah’s restaurant and consulting firm are both eligible for a new advertiser promotional offer. Additionally, if either of these businesses expand to another country with a new billing address (for example, Sarah expands her restaurant to Brazil), the operation in a new country would be eligible for a new advertiser offer.

Existing advertiser promotions

Existing advertiser promotions are offered to current advertisers who qualify for the promotion or former advertisers who were previously active and spending on Google. These promotions typically require advertisers to:
