About:
This community is for open discussion of period/costume movies. Basically, a period film is a film that is set in an earlier time than it was made, and are especially striking in their attention to details of that particular time. Whether you like war epics like "Gone With the Wind", comedies of manners like "Gosford Park", or Austenian romances like "Pride and Prejudice", this is the place for you.
Pretty much anything related to period films is up for discussion. You can post reviews of movies, news about new films being released, icons or graphics, pictures, or just talk about period films with other fans. This is the place for you to discuss and share your favorites, and learn about others that you might want to see.
Rules:
*The biggest rule is just to be respectful and polite to other members. Absolutely no rudeness, bitchiness, or unkindness of any kind, or you're done here. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all
*Promotion is alright with me, but it has to be somewhat related to this community. This really isn't the place to promote your Hilary Duff fan community
*After you join, it would be appreciated if you introduce yourself a little bit. Do you have a favorite period film? A favortie actor or actress? Just let us know your here and a little bit about yourself
