OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this article is to investigate how job crafting augments work outputs (i.e., innovation performance and career satisfaction) through work engagement. METHODS: Data were collected from 477 workers working in the Pakistan manufacturing sector. A structural equation modeling technique was used to investigate the mediation model. RESULTS: Job crafting has a direct and indirect association with innovation performance and career satisfaction – via employees’ work engagement. Additionally, the mediating impact was stronger for innovation performance than for career satisfaction. The findings advocate that managers should pay attention to employees’ job crafting to improve employees’ work engagement in manufacturing organizations. To improve employees’ innovation performance and career satisfaction via work engage...

Specifically, they are feeling tremendous pressure and many of them worry about their work conditions and even intent to leave them. In this situation, it is of utmost for them to satisfied their lives during the challenging situation. OBJECTIVE: This paper explores the relationship of life satisfaction with healthcare workers' turnover intention during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was hypothesized that this relationship would be mediated by trust climate, and this mediation association would be stronger when workers experience job embeddedness in the workplace. METHODS: Survey data were collected from the 520 healthcare workers. A moderated mediation examination was employed to test the hypotheses. RESULTS: Results revealed that life satisfaction is positively related to a trusting climate that, in turn, is negatively related to workers’ turnover intention. Moreover,...

The equilibrium point is calculated, and its stability is evaluated. Meanwhile, the dynamic evolution process of the system is simulated numerically, and the results reveal the complexity of the evolution process. Finally, the delay feedback control method is used to suppress the chaos of the model. Results show that in the production competition of duopoly automobile enterprises, automobile enterprises react too quickly to the market, thus resulting in system imbalance and chaos. At the same time, new energy vehicles are more sensitive to the market than traditional fuel vehicles. An excessively large output adjustment speed is not conducive to the smooth transformation of the automobile market. In addition, the delay feedback control method can effectively suppress the chaos in the system. The larger the delay feedback parameter, the faster the system returns to a steady state. This result suggests that policymakers should reflexively use this approach in practice.

This paper conducts an empirical study on regional brand competitiveness (BC) influencing factors. A research model was proposed and tested by employing structural equation modeling. Data analysis was conducted using 214 valid questionnaires from two major producing areas in Jilin Province, China. Research results show that Brand Market (BM) and Government Guidance (GG) directly and positively impact the regional BC. Regional Resource (RR) and industrial development (ID) indirectly impact the regional BC through the mediating role of BM and GG. BM is the most important factor affecting the regional BC. Based on this, the path to improve the competitiveness of traditional agricultural products under economic globalization is determined, and targeted countermeasures and suggestions are formul...

Based on data science research theory and the original theory of public perception, this study proposes a research framework to analyze environmental policy through network text analysis. The primary contents are bidirectional encoder representation from transformers-convolution neural network (BERT-CNN) sentiment tendency analysis, word frequency characteristic analysis, and semantic network analysis. The realism of the suggested framework is demonstrated by using the waste classification policy as an example. The findings indicate a substantial relationship between perceived subject participation and policy pilot areas and that perceived subject participation is repeating. On this premise, specific recommendations are made to encourage policy implementation.

The development and application of Industrial Internet technologies formed by these changes have spillover effects on Industrial Internet innovation. Sample data from 30 provinces and big cities of China from 2006 to 2018 were used to verify the network externality characteristics of industrial Internet development. The nonlinear impact of environmental factors, such as the proportion of Internet users and intellectual property protection on the open green innovation of manufacturing enterprises, was investigated through the panel threshold model. Meanwhile, the development level of the industrial Internet in eastern and western China is compared and analyzed. This study contributes to existing knowledge and guides practitioners to help manufacturing organizations develop industrial Internet environm...

However, excessive use of SNSs will negatively impact students academic performance, leading to the discontinuation intentions of social media. Therefore, this study aims to investigate an extended research model drawing on the stress-strain-outcome (SSO) theory and transactional model of stress to examine the adverse effect of SNS stressors on academic performance. The required data from the target population was collected through a structured questionnaire. The valid sample size of this study was n = 505 respondents. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) in AMOS (version 23.0) to examine the study hypotheses. The results confirmed that the SNS stressors, namely, social overload, information overload, and system feature overload, induce strain in terms of poor academic performance by generating feelings ...

This study greatly develops a research model by integrating institutional theory, the natural resource-based view (NRBV), and dynamic capability theory to explore this relationship. This article is based on structured questionnaire data of 347 supply chain personnel. We employed structural equation modeling to verify the research hypotheses. The findings provide empirical support for institutional pressures affecting GSCM efforts and organizational performance. The results also showed that the moderating effect of BDAC positively strengthened the impact of GSCM effort on organizational performance. The findings extend and refine the existing GSCM literature, providing new insights for scholars to explore this view further. Practitioners can turn their attention to i...

In a social commerce (SC) environment, trust also plays a vital role in consumers’ purchase intentions. This research aims to achieve consistent findings regarding the concise effect of trust on consumers’ purchase intention and the moderating effect of SC constructs in social commerce platforms. A meta-analysis, including 20 effect sizes from 19 studies, investigated the association between trust and consumers’ purchase intention. The outcomes demonstrate that trust positively influences consumers’ purchase intentions. Meanwhile, moderation analysis points out that trust in sellers has a larger significant effect than other trust objects. Meanwhile, consumers in forums and communities can gain more trust, affecting their purchase intentions. In terms of website types, trust has a similar influence on purchase intention.

The purpose of this research is to test the proposed model to validate current theories that evaluate the relationships between online trust and customer f-commerce usage intentions. It has also been proposed to improve usage intention by integrating the relationship between perceived value and trust in electronic commerce (e-commerce). The data was gathered using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM; n = 435). In this study, gender has been discussed as a moderating factor. The findings describe the positive relationships that exist between antecedents of trust and user intentions toward f-commerce. Furthermore, according to the findings of the study, females are more concerned than males about developing their intentions to utilize f-commerce for online shopping. Theoretical and practical im...

By integrating stakeholder theory and dynamic capability theory, this study aims to determine the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on SSCM practices and assess its impact on organizational performance. This research also investigates the role of big data analytical capabilities (BDAC) in mediating the relationship between SSCM practices and organizational performance.
