I started this journal as a research project about music groups in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. I don't know much about music but I'm trying to learn without going bankrupt.

If you live in Minnesota and are looking for local music, I hope you find this a usefull resource. Each week I will seek out groups playing at area venues and match them with free mp3s of their music available on the web.
