Hi! I'm the girl who married her high school art teacher, hence the username. We're madly in love and have been married five years.

I have come back from near death due to anorexia and consider myself in full recovery after a long six year fight. I despise any negative media influences and people that constantly bash their bodies. If you have an eating disorder, I would be more than happy to offer you my support for your recovery. If you aren't serious about recovery, don't bother adding me. I've been through many painful experiences that have made me stronger and more positive than ever.

I work at a jewelry store, apprenticing a goldsmith. I hope to become a certified goldsmith within the next couple of years. My husband and I have a photography studio during the summer. I'm also a full time college student and am almost finished. I have a jewelry business that is taking off, much to my surprise and excitement. I'm obsessed with making jewelry, in fact it's my passion. Be sure to check out my jewelry store! A lot of my entries are dedicated to jewelry I make. Other entries seem to be random, but almost always upbeat. I hate feeling sorry for myself.

I LOVE birds!!! I have a (horny)cockatiel named Elvis, a parrotlet named Penelope, a white capped pionus named Miss. Megapixel, a blue & gold macaw named Charlie.

THE TRUTH ABOUT ME...
>I am very optimistic.
>Sometimes! I! use! too! many! exclamation! points! because! I! can! be! really! perky!
>I'm a morning person and get really sleepy in the afternoon
>Sometimes I can isolate myself and not want to go out and have fun because I'd rather stay home. I'm a homebody I suppose, at least that's what my parents always told me.
>I love birds, they have a lot of significance in my life. To me they symbolize hope, fragility, beauty, freedom, and will.
>My cockatiel Elvis sometimes loses his head and jumps into my cereal bowl and I have to pick him out, milk dripping from his wiggling, pink feet. One time I was drinking my coffee and I didn't realize until I got to the bottom of my mug that Elvis had pooped in it and his poop had been swirling in my coffee the whole time I was drinking it. Lovely. But they are a joy, I would't trade him for the world.
>I try to be sensitive to everyone's feelings. This isn't always possible, but I try.
>I love Jesus. I am a Christian. I do, however, respect everyone's beliefs and do not force my religion on anyone else. I am open about my faith, just not pushy. People like that give Christianity a bad name. I am a fairly liberal Christian.
>I can't stand to be away from my husband very long. I love him dearly.
>I just want everyone around me to be happy.
>I squeak a lot and make giggly noises because I'm just simply a happy person.
>I hate melon. It's disgusting. I also can't stand to eat raw tomato, onion, or olives.
>My favorite color right now is pink or bright green. I like to wear a lot of white or pink and I prefer wearing skirts in the summer than shorts since they ride up your buttcrack.

DO NOT ADD ME IF....
1. You expect me to comment on all your entries...I try very hard to read and comment on everything but I can't always keep up. I'm a very busy person.
2. You never comment on stuff. That's just irritating.
3. You have an eating disorer with NO heart for recovery. Recovering e.d.'s are always welcome, but if you don't want to get better you are only wasting my time and pissing me off.
4. You just want to steal my jewelry ideas for your own profit.

WHAT ANNOYS ME
>Slow people, this includes a lot of things: slow thinkers, slow drivers, slow walkers, slow workers, etc.
>Carpooling
>Mouth breathers *shudders*
>Intolerance among Christians
>When I'm surrounded with idiots
>People who chew with their mouths open
>People who have to debate every single thing they disagree with. Just roll with things, geez.
>Anxiety
>People who ignore me
>Unwanted thoughts
>Whiners
>The glorification of suicide and self harm.
>My back

WHAT THRILLS ME
>Birds
>Making new friends
>Food
>Fruit roll-ups
>School
>Days with nothing to do
>Doing anything with my husband
>Flamingos
